  1. Unfortunately it takes new buyers to discover a lemon.
  2. Excellent topic and great pics Steve. Looks like you and your Buds had a lot of fun this past year. Staying with the topic, here's a pic that I took last fall. I forget this guys name, but he looked like he was having fun.
  3. Nice!! That one in your right hand could feed a family of 4..
  4. Nice report Terry. Looks like a fun day.
  5. I have two Border Collies. Sarah and Abby.
  6. Starting this year, NASCAR will see Toyota join their popular racing series. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds. Toyota has been racing in NASCAR's Craftsman truck series for a few years now and is doing very well. Times are changing for sure.
  7. I despise January so I just try to keep busy with work and stuff until it passes. Reaching February is a milestone for me. And it's almost here. I'll be celebrating groundhog day wayyyy up north. I have a job to do at a mine north of the Albany River. Also, I'm counting the days until the Daytona 500!!
  8. I've also switched from Norton to AVG free and am quite pleased with it.
  9. I saw a few good r&r concerts at Maple Leaf Gardens in the late 70's/early 80's. Queen, Bob Segar, Eddy Money, Zee Zee Top, 38 Special. Good times. I would have loved to have seem McCartney Carp. Pretty much my musical idol right there. I like most kinds of music today. Depends on my mood.
  10. Nice report Dan. Good to hear from you.
  11. I know nothing about this photo guys but I thought that some of you would appreciate it. I found it on myfishingpictures.com. Apparently its some kind of record.
  12. Another nice report Solo. I've been on Keezik, and yes, it's a Walleye factory. And I even waded for Walleye while I was there. Keep the reports coming..
  13. There's been a gas price war raging on and off in Dryden for a few years now. I paid under 50 cents per litre while driving through there about 3 years ago. I think it all started when Walmart opened their gas bar there.
  14. Nicely composed photo. Perfectly exposed as well. But living in the Northwest of the province, you'll never find a photo of me holding a Pike that isn't at least 40 inches. And you'll never ever see me with one on a stringer. We hate Pike up here, even though they're a dime a dozen.
  15. Ah yes Roy. That photo was obviously sharpened. A little too much Photoshop IMHO.
  16. Every picture that I've ever posted on OFC has been photoshopped, so I'd have to say that I'm all for it.
  17. I've been buying lots of stuff on E Bay the past year or so. Today I received a Carhartt winter work jacket. I paid $40.00 US for it and $10.00 shipping as well as PST and GST. So, about $70.00 Canadian in all. I'm sure that same jacket would cost $150.00 or more here. I also got a nice hand painted Brook Trout coffee mug today. The detail is incredible. $1.99 for that. Cabelas and E Bay are great places to shop.
  18. Could very well be Nemo. The photos arrived in my e mail stating that they were taken on Superior. But you know how the stories get twisted around on the internet these days. On the other hand, if Superior can snap the Edmond Fitzgerald in half, (one of the theories) it can certainly wash over a boat as the photos show.
  19. Have fun with your new toy Joey..
  20. LOL. That's the funniest thing I've seen since.... well, since the last time I've seen something.
  21. It's nice living on the shores of Lake Superior. It's the cleanest and the largest of the Great Lakes and the fishing is fantastic. I've lived on her shorelines my entire life, but I've only fished on Superior a few times. Here's why.
  22. Why are Pacific Salmon in the Great Lakes period? There's a reason why they are called "Pacific Salmon".
  23. Better have a closer look Tom. They're here, but in small numbers. I haven't seen any personally, but I know several people that have.
  24. This should be looked at as a victory for all involved. Surely these creeps are aware of our efforts here and will think twice next time. They're probably breathing a collective sigh of relief today. But as Roy said, it's not over 'til it's over. Hats off to everyone involved. Good work guys. You made a difference. We'll get them next time.
  25. Looks like a very nice place Doug. I can't blame you for being excited. I'm sure you'll have a ball.
