Glad to hear things turned out well Gary. Take care and look forward to seeing/meeting you at Lakair.

Thanks Ken, It should be an interesting year. Let's hope YOUR new boat can get you out of the bride's maid role and allow you to pick up "Angler of the Year" status. I'll be right on your butt!! See you Sunday. How about pics of your new vessel??

I was thinking of setting up a Swill in Grimsby if there is enough interest.

Thanks for all the kind comments folks. This one is certainly my favourite. I wonder if I bought a 17' Targa if I would look even younger It would be good to see you out on Sunday Mark. In fact everyone is welcome. Just bring a Toonie and an attitude to have fun.

Some of you may remember that I bought a new Tracker Pro Guide 16V last December. At that time the plan was to take the 60 from my '99 Tracker and just sell the old boat and trailer. A few weeks ago I decided to go for broke (heavy on the broke) and added a 75 four stroke Merc to the deal. The logic being that it would be easier to sell the old boat with a motor and I would be buying a boat AND motor with full warranty, plus I got a GREAT deal on the motor from my wonderful part time employer Bass Pro. There is no way that I would have been able to afford this boat if it wasn't for the generous way that they treat their employees! (shameless spam ) I picked up the new boat 2 weeks ago and have sat frustrated with the rotten weather waiting for an opportunity for the maiden launch and also to get the old boat out to ensure everything was still working perfectly. With a small window of opportunity on Saturday with calm winds and some brief sunshine (and still cool temps) I made a very tough decision to forego Musky Odessey and get both boats in the water. Everything worked great on both boats Now I have to get the old boat (Hawg 3) prepped for sale and the new boat (Hawg 4) prepped for our first Toonie Tourney this coming Sunday. Boy am I pumped!! Yeehaa!! The current owner of two boats. The old boat has served me well in the 3 years I've had it. The new one is significantly deeper and wider than the old one. My retirement boat?????? Sorry I missed everyone at Musky Odeyssey, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. One week to go to hopefully get into some action.

I chose all three, but I fish whenever I can. It definitely does affect my confidence though.... Full moon and storm approaching yeehaa! Fished a little bay a couple of years ago that I hadn't fished in years as it never produced. Went into the bay as storm clouds were approaching and it was probably the most intense half hour of fishing we ever had. Decent Bass every other cast! -
Oh to be 40 again! Have a great day Monique. Can't wait to see how you get even TJ, it was nice knowing ya

We will be holding our CTTS Banquet and Awards night this coming Tuesday night and we still have a few seats available. I thought I would extend an invitation to any OFNers that might be interested in coming out this season. It will give you a good feel of what to expect. The night will include Dinner, Trophies, Awards (all our Junior members from last year will receive trophies, BPS hats and a Dave Mercer DVD), some great videos from last season, as well as lots of Door Prizes. We also plan on kicking off the new season by unveiling the 2007 Tournament Schedule and a sneak preview of the new and improved CTTS website. Scott Huffman has accepted an invitation to be our guest speaker. Scott won the 2005 Canadian Fishing Tour 2-Day Pro-Am at Chippawa and walked away with $10,000. He is the two time defending champion of the Iceman Open held on Lake Erie in the late fall and is the St.Catharines Bassmasters 2006 Angler of the Year. Scott brings a wealth of knowledge based on his extensive Tournament Fishing experience and the countless hours that he has spent on Lake Erie. He is one of the most knowledgeable Touring Pros on fishing the Eastern Basin of Lake Erie. If you're interested in joining us for an entertaining evening, please PM me asap. It would be great to have a few more OFNers come out. Location: Judge & Jester (formerly Winchester Arms) 17 Main Street East, Grimsby Date: Tuesday, March 27, 2007 Time: 6:30 pm Map below: Judge & Jester
