    HEY!!

    Ouch bad bunny
  2. Great choice and enjoy the new ride. I have a Lund with the same motor and the motor has been awesome!!!! as has the boat. Let us know when you are looking for more gear if you need a hand.
  3. Tried them a bit last year with not too much success but they do look great in the water and I will give them a better shot this year.
  4. If you have confidence in them you will catch fish. I have used them and sold most of them to stay with other brands that are less money that have performed well like Rapala, Excaliber, Yozuri, Action Lures, Bagley's etc
  5. froze my butt off this morning doing garbage
  6. Each person you take out give them a sharpener when they set foot onto the boat and they have to sharpen until your out on your spot.
  7. Good deal for the unit
  8. I agree Terry. The first thing we should all do is take a kid fishing, or get them to go fishing. The children of today are our future. Some of my fondest memories are just that fishing with my dad and grandfather, or riding my bike to the local pond. I am by far a Bass fanatic and love fishing tourneys. I have a Lund boat with a 75hp 4 stroke. I do like the HP limited series but have also competed in a Top Bass Classic with more of the bigger bass boats and still finished 2nd respectively so H.P. really doesn't make a huge difference. I believe if they had the tourneys on smaller bodies of water consistently that would help and the 2 series now with restricted horsepower are also great choices. The main thing is have fun and go fishing. If you are competitive or want to see how your abilities stack up then get into tourneys. I still get that incredible rush every event and love to fish them. I look forward every year to blast off and to compete against other anglers with also making some great friends and having fun along the way. Frank you are right though when the 75h.p. series was run (Reel Fishing tourneys) they always had a great turnout for #'s. Maybe its the time to return to this type of series to get more people into the sport.
  9. I use Lowrance and recommend them by far over any other. I use the Lcx17M on the dash and and a LMS480 on the front both with gps and they are great for location and detail of bottom and marking fish.
  10. neat idea but I think I will stay with my Bolle polarized.
  11. happy birthday
  12. Good trade for sure. You can always rent a set of clubs if you go golfing.
  13. Possibly look for a low pro file baitcaster that will be better suited for your needs. Something like a Shimano Citica, or Curado.
  14. Very nice reels and thye setups look great!!!!!
  15. Give Fishing World a call they had some of their rods on sale %50 off and if you want a great baitrunner look at the Shimano baitrunners and see what type of price they can do for you. Mike their is a carp nut and knows his stuff.
  16. Happy birthday fishergirl72.
  17. Morning Mo. The grass has been green down here for a few days so far and yes I started looking through my maps and gear starting last week.
  18. I have the East Great lake chips in the Gold and absolutely love them, They show great detail and all contours, and major rock piles, weed lines, marina's, launch ramps etc. It is a good price as at the show they were 239.99 but that is for the lateset version. I was lucky and went down to Cabela's PA and bought the 901gold chip for a great deal. The hotmaps does not show the water contours and depths detail as the Gold chip but it does relate to land and all lakes in Ontario without the detail for navigation. If you are looking for the best marine chip go with the Gold.
  19. Vanish 8lb floro will be great for one spool, and look at 10lb or 15lb FINS PRT for the other reel. Especially with spinning some braids will work better than others by preventing wind knots, coatings on the line for colour retention and also castability. Make sure on the spool with the braid that you leave some mono on the spool to prevent the line from slipping. If you get the FINS you get 150yrds and should be able to do 2 reels with it as well.
  20. I went and only spent $40 bucks. They had some great deals on Shimano reels on as i saw alot of guys buying them at the reel counter it was busy. I picked up some hooks and a few Xraps and that's it.
  21. Yes Shimano Canada is participating
  22. Good luck. It's always great to see another tackle shop open up. Wish them all the success for the future.
  23. Some great deals on Shimano reels for anyone in the market. Go early for the best choice as last year some were sold out early.
