  1. Glad you escaped this one.
  2. Go to the Bay of Quinte. You may have to put up with some boat traffic but the fishing will be worth it. Remember the bass fishing opens on the 4rth Sat in June so book around that and good luck. Mississippi Lake would be another great choice in Eastern Ontario.
  3. Good to hear all went well Roger. Talk to you soon.
  4. Great pic and report
  5. Great pics and reports. Haven't used top waters but a slow falling weightless plastic may take a few.
  6. I agree with ya Roy. We hope to be able to do online ordering in the future as Rick mentioned but we do take phone orders now for any of our products and also we will ship if required. See you next week Rick for some training.
  7. Just to let the members know that the new Fishing World website is up and running. Take a look and register on the forums. We would like to thank Rick for all his hard work and great talent. www.fishingworld.ca
  8. Great report and nice going getting the rod and reel back
  9. It is always fun to get out with my dad. He got me into fishing when I was really young and now to be able to take him fishing feels great and the memories are priceless.
  10. Got out on Erie yesterday for a couple of hours with my dad and one of his friends. Weather could not have been better with only a slight breeze and partly cloudy skies. The main action for smallies came off of 8-12 foot breaks with deeper water around. The best baits for the day were Phenix Tubes, Jackall jerkbaits and also the new One Knocker crankbait. We caught well over 30 fish with the biggest ones between 3-4lbs besides 1 good size sheephead LOL. Nothing huge but a great time out there. Here are a couple of pics

    OH NO!!!

Great pics and welcome to the hunters side. Look out TJ be on your best behaviour she has a gun now LOL.
  12. Well went out on Erie for some smallmouth action this afternoon and this great fishery produced. Weather was beauty with clear skies and just a little breeze on the lake. We fished numerous areas from shallow rock edges from shallow breaks and some deeper rock piles. The fishing was on in almost all areas. The best techniques were jerkbaits from Jackall and Lucky Craft. Phenix tubes 3 1/2 inch with 1/8oz tube jigs were the ticket with also drop shotting Phenix drop shot worms and also Berkley Gulp minnows. We caught over 30 fish and had a great afternoon. Here are a couple of pics of some of the bigger ones caught: This one was 5 lbs 11 oz on the scale
  13. Have a great trip look forward to the report
  14. Gas is 96.9 down here.
  15. Welcome to the board. BOQ or even Rice Lake would be a great trip with fishing for bass and walleye. Quinte will be better for numbers and size of almost all species. You could also look at going out on a charter with someone to get on some big eyes on BOQ. Have a great trip.
  16. Great report and pics, glad you had a good outing and watch your step the next one could be a doozy LOL.
  17. Yes the causeway launch is better and easier for the launch and parking.
  18. Greaqt pic and we all have days like that but good on ya to stick it out.
  19. Sandy lake is a diamond on the rough for sure. I have spent a few fall trips on it and it is a great lake.
  20. Great report and pics. Glad you had a great trip.
  21. Try vinagar and water and if this doesn't work spray nine or toilet bowl cleaner.
  22. Look into the Lund boats if possible. I had mine up for sale for half the price of new this spring. For trailer parks look into the Tri Lakes areas such as Camp Ashtabula, Elim Lodges, Camp Fisherman, Golden Beach Resort, Elmhirst resort or if you want to go to BOQ Merland Park may be a good choice.
  23. Emily will be the best for all around fishing and camping.
