  3. They are summer run steelhead. They usually start running the rivers in july. There used to be a fishable population in Owen Sound in the 90's. The states of Wisconsin, Indiana and Illinois are the best place in the GL region to fish them as they stock quite a few and have strong runs.
  4. Main line connects to a 3 way swivel, leader to the other side of the swivel. Next to the 3rd swivel is connected a piece of surgical tube (attached with a piece of wire (copper fly tying wire in the thicker sizes works well Or bell wire with the cover removed.)) . Slide a piece of pencil lead into the tubing. This Artists Rendering should help.

  14. Yeah, no kidding!!!! This summer we had not only bears in the hood, we also had a cougar (feline kind, not Bar Fly kind ) running around my area.
  15. As far as I know, no one makes a rechargable lantern battery. You could get one of these Battery Holders and install it in place of the lantern battery and use 4 rechargable D cells.
  16. Lakers, Pike, Walleye, Whitefish and Ling. But I'm mainly a Laker guy.
