I can't believe I just quoted that guy! lol Those scenery shots don't seem to be cut off, even the eagle in mid flight managed to fit in the frame. Great report, looked like a fun day!

Nice Keeper! Congrates

I've got the Eagle 642c, love it. Price at Radioworld seems high though. I got mine at JB's for more the price range of the two you listed I think. I don't think you can go wrong either way. Not much input on the Bird, sorry. http://radioworld.ca/product_info.php?cPat...roducts_id=3034 Few differences that you'll probably never notice

Winkleman broke my hand when we shuck, Bear paws on the boy. The star studded line up was fantastic and worth the $12. A different star at every turn it seemed. Thanks to those who showed face, I was like a 12 year old girl at a BSB concert! -
I never thought much of this guy's show until I caught it on the new HD channel offered by rogers "Oasis" ( Oasis is a all nature channel that comes in pack of 4 new channels that are a free preview until March 31st CH. 547-550 on the rogers box). A decent show in standard def - with most of the shows shot in remote locals - HD makes his show feel like your there with his narratives. A bit of an odd ball with his antics, but worth checking out if you have not already. He also puts some good specimens in the boat. Love the Mercer HD show on the Score also! Good to see fishing shows crossing into HD is becoming the norm. P

That's a pretty crappie.... replica. With the open mouth you could have him chasing down a fair sized perch too. Didn't look that big till I seen you holding it. Very nice!

Welcome to the board! I to stay on Pigeon and tried for the first time Ice fishing north of there last weekend. The consensus is that anything north of Hwy 36 is good to ice fish (Along with GBW's comments). We tried Bass lake and got nudda (a local said the lake has been hammered the last couple of years and the fishing not so good, he suggested .... I can't think of the lake, but also said trout were to be had there). Snowmobile is almost a must to get winter access to some of these lakes ( or 2 feet and a heart beat, snow shoe's, all your gear...). The closest a vehicle got us to Bass lake was about 4 KMs, loaded the snowmobile and in we went. Looking at the trail map other lakes seem to be on the same level of access. Catchacoma Lake and Mississauga Lake and Crystal Lake are in the area, how to get to them.....let me know when you get there. Opportunity is there, you just have to adventure out one day. Getting to the lake was a feat in itself for us last weekend and half the fun. Too bad the fish didn't . Good luck and a report would be nice too!

Did you compare it to this yet?..... http://www.ofncommunity.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=27726 Oh just noticed 9.9

We're Savages! No, hardly any of our species are bad for eating nor the water from what it's been caught, its a treat to many. Except I'd say carp/bottom feeders, which is the huge sport fish over there from what I gather, wouldn't catch me eating carp though. Sorry don't have a better answer. Welcome to the board.

Good question I thought..... I drive through on my way to my weekend spot. My bait shop is closed for the winter. Could of used some live minnows for the skunking we got this weekend. No response, strange. bump

Couldn't agree more TB. Stay away from Blue Mountain for you virgin voyage. Ice skating expirence helps too IMO. I've got a nice set of 3 year old stuff, I don't use anymore.... If you are a size 10-10.5 boot, roughly 175 lbs should save you a few bucks. Good luck!

Mac operator / Graphics guy at a Misterssuaga printing co. (cuts into why to much fishing time) Volleyball referee for the Brampton Volleyball league (Hiring for Thursday Nights). To see if I could handle being called "this and that", a hockey ref is of future interest. Street level Pharmacist ..... kidding

I think Bob Izumi did a show there. Up the road from me all those years and I never took advantage of it. Too bad it's gone.
