  1. Your wife is gonna stick that auger up your arse for cluttering up the kitchen. Looks good to me though Bri.
  2. I don't condone this practice, but hopefully it will be done this weekend.
  3. Wanna do a Jeep versus Honda off road evaluation test when you're back in town? the sales snake called it "fire cracker red" Jk cheers! I agree, my wife might not see it quite this way though
  4. Drinking while on the ice or on the water is irresponsible.
  5. I don't know. I was thinking 5x10 open Miska for $1400. I don't know how long the honeymoon phase will last. Right now, I'm gonna lick the salt off her rockers and maybe enter her tail pipe in the driveway. It's a gay Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand.
  6. I don't know. I'm more inclined to cuddle with it right now. Like Freshtrax said, the first cut is the deepest.
  7. I don't know how accurate the tach is, but it seems to have low end, diesel like torque. Cool. We ordered it in August, got it today, I would have guessed they were made on the planet Mars.
  8. I'd say lots of "ups", not many "downs". Fishes of a lifetime for most. You're lucky to live close to a fishery like that.
  9. Good run. Maybe check your timing belt while you have a couple of days off.
  10. A 5x10 utility trailer is soon to be purchased.
  11. A small SUV, 4 door, 4 cylinder, would have made more sense, but screw that, WE BOUGHT THIS, WHOOOOOAAAA! Ordered in late August, picked up today, ouch! The only upgrades were AC, a hardtop and bigger wheels. The 6 speed manual is cool. It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand.
  12. That's gotta feel good, getting out on the ice, bright sunshine, Nick. We might be fishing Sunday in Haliburton Jeremy, I'll let you know.
  13. I would spend the money on the reel, not the rod, and the reel would be a Shimano. I've got a $400 rod but my favorite is a $40 rod I've had for years. I wouldn't buy a rod or combo online without being able to hold it in my hand.
  14. The beam and the floor space is great. The trade off is it's going to ride terrible in some chop. I would avoid Tracker boats too. JMO.
  15. Deep fried, English style whitefish, I'm jealous. Nice outing man!
  16. Good to hear things are looking better. All you guys can do is to continue caring and trying to help. It sounds like you and your wife are doing that.
  17. Exactly! I saw a lot of people sitting around over the holidays. Looks like the snow is going to bugger up the ice making up there. Looks like a fun day to me.
  18. I like ice fishing. -36, no thanks, you can have it
  19. That's waaaay better than fighting the crowds in the malls IMO. Nice Bri!
  20. At Erindale Park these days, a lot of guys opt for something witha treble hook.
  21. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/north/yukon-woman-mauled-bear-died-gunshot-wound-1.3378411 My wife and I have been following this crazy story. The most notable thing for us, is that the husband seems weird in interviews. Tragic for sure though.
  22. I would keep your new cottage off the grid. It is expensive to get the service in initially, then it's a lifetime contract with Hydro One and you are at their mercy with delivery charges and rate changes etc. Being off the grid you can control some of your expenses.
  23. That sucks Chad but thankfully nobody was hurt. How bad is the left A pillar?
  24. Jeez. Hopefully you're insured and covered. Sounds like it could have been worse and I'm glad nobody was hurt.
