yeah, I hear ya, I'd would like to see accountability including loss of job/ pension, jail time etc for stuff like this, Pam Wallin and Mike Duffy haven't even lost their cushy jobs when if I did something like that, I'd be in jail, really ticks me off I did a rough calculation when the G20 cost Canada a billion $'s, as tax payers it cost me and my wife about $100, so here's another $100 out of our pockets for another screw up

yeah, I'm getting ready, there's lots of things to be done around the house, but here's what I was working on this afternoon

I don't know if they were near the end of their trip and were getting desperate, but it seems like a dumb move to me http://atlantic.ctvnews.ca/hunters-who-killed-rare-white-moose-say-they-made-a-mistake-1.1489240 I'm sure others will argue it's fair game and open season

yeah, there's been frost you seem to know a little about this stuff, I guess that's why you're called "high" drifter, (just kidding) -
I make a little of my own real maple syrup, but I actually prefer the cheap no-name brand stuff, even Aunt Jemima doesn't cut it, that's just me though I also prefer cheap beer (no Moosehead or Sleemans etc), homemade wine to LCBO stuff, cheap rye not Crown Royal, I don't know if my cheapness has influenced my perception, or I'm just a red neck

I had my 12 gauge, but I sure didn't feel like having someone shooting back at me I bet some guys would want these GPS cords more than those for a hot Haliburton bass lake -
despite the ref's best efforts, Bernier stole the show I would start him on Saturday, but I think Reim will be in

I had it pretty bad this summer, I did some research, from what I read, I don't think you can spread it from scratching or from the puss on your skin, it's only the oil from the plant that causes the trouble, my doctor said that too after 4 or 5 days, it wasn't that uncomfortable

you're right, I don't care I'm in my 40's too, so don't use age as an excuse for being a pussy

a little off topic, but, earlier this summer, we did a multi- species fish fry, everything battered with the same seasoning, deep fried, everyone was in agreement that the ranking from the best to worst was 1) whitefish 2) walleye 3) perch 4) pike I know fish from different lakes with different diets can influence their table fare qualities, it was interesting though

nice, a 12 pack of beer and you're good to go (hahaha)

you have the gun licence (PAL), did you get your hunting, small game and migratory bird licences?

Pike/Walleye fishing this weekend... any tips?
chris.brock replied to Locnar's topic in General Discussion
if there's a decent sized river flowing into the lake you're fishing, try for wallys at dusk and after dark, especially Friday night (new moon) -
I don't know if this is true, so for what it's worth, I heard Poulan bought Husky and things aren't the same, except the prices
-
I love knowing there is beasts like that lurking around, you do great with all species, congrats

Fall bass fishing Haliburton style !!!
chris.brock replied to fishindevil's topic in General Discussion
that would be a blast, I'm sure I would learn a lot, keeping my fingers crossed -
With the wind storm in Haliburton this July, I have access to some used vinyl siding. I am considering building another ice hut. The question, is a floor necessary? Without a floor (lawn chairs on the ice) the hut would be a lot lighter, has anyone had experience with a permanent hut without a floor? Disadvantages? thanks Chris

great adventure fishing a place like that, looks like you guys enjoyed that little piece of paradise did you try the new walleye cleaning technique from Buck and Bingwood were you rip once you're near the bottom of the rib cage? there's still lots of soft water time left up there, you can probably get in 2 or 3 more fly-ins (lucky @#$##)
