  1. If a woman wrote the rule, the rule, and exceptions to the rule, may be changed at any time.
  2. The Ontario Parks site for it says lake trout, panfish, largemouth and smallmouth bass.
  3. The facebook page of Atheists in foxholes had a good post on Monday:
  4. Met the legendary #1 last year at the Wings and Wheels show at Downsview, my son and I had this pic taken:
  5. Try Loctite gel: Like any other cyanoacrylate glue it sticks just about anything to anything else, so be careful using it. The advantage of this particular gel over other 'superglues' is that it sets slower, allowing you to adjust the position of parts. Once you have the parts in place you can dribble some water on the glue to accelerate the curing process if you wish.
  6. Good one! And when the Leafs do finally win the cup it'll be funny to see him learning to skate.
  7. Nice fish, would be great if you had some beer to go with them. (ducks low and scurries for cover...)
  8. I'm glad the bugger is gone, but I also mourn for a life wasted. He was no less capable of thought than any of us here, and instead of masterminding a group of thugs he could have been a hospital administrator, run a contracting company, been a teacher, bus driver, or a musician. He chose a path that caused misery and suffering, fortunately he will do that no more. And a big shout out to the U.S. Navy SEALS who undertook the operation, and congratulations on taking no casualties. This old soldier gives a salute. Let's now hope that the names of the team are kept tightly under wraps to prevent any reprisals against the families.
  9. 8 pages?!?!?! Could I get deleted if I run naked through the board?
  10. Carry a camera everywhere, and use it.
  11. Found a site for the resident's association, this page has a (not too detailed) lake map: Lake Waseosa.
  12. Mr. President, we must not allow a mine shaft gap!
  13. I used to keep mine in my tackle box, unfortunately I once spilled some Muskol into the box and the next time I tried to take it out it was pretty well glued to the bottom. Now it stays in my fishing vest, which I always wear when fishing, don't always have a tackle box.
  14. I don't have that, but there is an MNR tips number, 1-877-847-7667. Got that from somewhere a couple of years ago, never needed to call it myself so I don't know if it's still in use but I don't see why it wouldn't be. I understand that you can also call Crimestoppers at the well known 222-TIPS
  15. Correct, used in emergencies to fire an inverse tachyon pulse through the main deflector array. It destabilises the surrounding subspace field and prevents a warp core breach.
  16. GRRRRRRRRR... :wallbash: I should have checked that part. Can I plead insanity? I'll bring my ex-wife as a witness.
  17. You are correct, pike are open all year in Zone 17. I believe it's been going on for a few years now.
  18. Shows it in the maps for Zones 10 and 11 too, it's the boundary.
  19. If I recall correctly this practise of paying to get rid of excess electricity was going on before they came to power.
  20. No, as I said in the original post it isn't mentioned at all.
  21. I'm no lawyer but I thought I was pretty good at figuring out the rulebook, but this one has me stumped. In the Exceptions to Zone 15 Regulations on page 76 it states: Okay, so if I'm standing on the south side of the Pickerel River in Zone 15 I can't keep a muskie smaller than 122cm. But the river forms the boundary between Zones 15 and Zones 10, and 11 to the north, and it isn't mentioned at all in the exceptions under Zones 10 and 11. So if I'm fishing from the north shore it doesn't apply? As far as I know the regs don't say that the zone boundary includes the entire river from south shore to north shore. I suspect that the law applies to both sides of the river, but it isn't clear from what I can tell. If a person wanted to fish on the north side and had only checked the regs for those zones they might find themselves in trouble. In my opinion the exception should be copied into both Zone 10 and 11. I'm only posting this as a curiosity really, it just struck me as weird.
  22. And so you should! They were built to be used, and there's no finer tribute to your father or the craftsmen who made it.
  23. Page 8 of the regulations: Pick up a copy and get familiar with it, it's cheap (in fact free) insurance.
