i dont understand why they put carpet in fishing boats. doesn't make sense to me.. ur boat will smell like a fish cleaning hut! i've been looking at the 20 foot lowe, alumacraft and polar craf center consol jon boats i like to run skinny water, fish walleye, rivers, etc etc boat has to be wide ( 78- 96" beam or more preferrably) i like to put the biggest motor a boat can have on it ( u dont always have to run it full out) its bettertha underpowered. semi v or mod V hull center consol or tiller set up able to put a bimini on her if need be livewell(s) large in hull gas tank weight can't be too much has to have deep gunnels

hey all, i'm thinking of getting a floater suit for late fall winter and spring fishing on those cold days. i've been looking at those helly hansen alpha's i want something orange for visibility preferrably. i think 1 piece suit is the way to go over a 2 piece, as far as warmth and safety.. but i'm open to suggestions thanks

Hey everyone, i plan on launching at fishermans pier driving out 4 miles or so, in about 80-120 ft water. fishing anywhere from 58-70ft i got 1 rigger, gonna send her downabout 70, with 100Ft lead from the clipgonna send that down with a " cheater" or whatever also about 60-74 ft back then im sending down a big dipsy not sure how deep yet prolly work around in the depths for lure choices, i'm thinking green spin doctors blue or green trolling flies silver/green spoons green or black/purple lymans? any thoughts? i was out last sunday and got sprayed by a SKUNK dont want it to happen again thanks all

roof racks are always alot better than foam mounts, but its whatever is in ur budget.. as far as anchor, get a onion sack, or something along those lines, tied to rope, fill it with rocks when u get to your destination.
