  1. Your a nice guy, I would've laughed right at him and left him there.
  2. Love it !!!!!!! Nice work. Nice to see that jeep worked !
  3. ^^^^^^^I couldn't have Said it better. AMAZING pics !^^^^^^
  4. Just got the new OOD magazine, great spread on steelhead. As a guy that's walked, waded and floated tribs for the last 25years I enjoyed the article and look forward to hearing the interview . I know my buddies( all hardcore steelheaders) have likely read the articles and feel the same yet would be the first to crucify me for posting anything about steelhead online LOL They enjoy the nostalgia of pre-internet. Keep up the great work.
  5. Nice feed , I may have to start targeting them. Seems every hole we drilled, the graphs were black with school after school of them . I'd take those over a big greaser in the freezer any day ! Nice work Brian .
  6. My 4 year old is obsessed with sharks and whales! He's watched this a dozen times already lol Thanks R
  7. We didn't get nailed to badly, think it worked out to 8$ extra a month. Stove is capable of heating the house. However when we moved in last year and went from a house with gas heating to oil heating , our rates went up 750$ a year , and that was the best I found. On a side note .... Last year the neighbours had a small leak in their oil tank that leeched into the soil around the house , was picked up via their sump pump and pumped out to the storm water run off and ended up in a holding pond . WHAT A NIGHTMARE ! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ . Insurance didn't pay. Total was around 43000$$$ check your policies.
  8. I feel your pain LOL, I've flipped two houses for decent $$$$$ and the wife complained at the start of each project But never once about the $$$ made on the resale. Funny how that works. Had our first child during the second project, DRASTICALLY extended the completion . R
  9. Nice report!! And a great walleye for the efforts. Hit back lake last week for Splake , brutal hike in. Even worse hike out carrying the big skunking I got . Your right, can't believe the snow accumulation up there this year
  10. Wife has her falconry license, I'm told we're getting a Harris hawk in the spring . I guess we'll see who puts more birds and rabbits in the freezer, my short haired pointer or her raptor LOL. My only hope is the pointer doesn't but the raptor in the freezer YIKES $$$$$$$$$$
  11. Nice pics ! Chum with Salted minnows , then slip a couple salties on a hook and it should be ling after ling.
  12. Yep, fought with my x67 ice machine for years in the deep stuff. Gave up, and went with a eagle fishmark 320, far from "elite " but marks at every depth and has been a great unit for teasing lakers into smashing baits. I've had a few models over the years but prefer the old eagle. Curious to hear what they say.. Today's weather was brutal on the old eagle lol.
  13. We'll be out. I'll shoot ya a text. good luck, Ry
  14. Nice rig, I was just checking those out at our dealer . Diesel is apparently headed for the wrangler for 2015. If that's the case, I'll definitely be grabbing a New Rubicon.
  15. Looks like a great solo day , and your little guy looks happy with the results !
  16. Off this year, usually the way it works at our place is the guys with older kids or no kids cover for guys with a young family on Christmas . When I first started I covered every Christmas I could. Nice to see 12 years later guys pay it back :-)
  17. Nice !!! Headed up for some bows next week, wasn't motivated till now !
  18. Nice !!!!Amazing rescue by the SAR techs at CFB Trenton !!! Almost as good as firing up a 20 year old jiffy LOL.
  19. "Self important Firefighters" Please elaborate ........
  20. Your the guy that SHOULD have to foot the bill when you get rescued! Please enlighten us on ice water rescue and safety ?? What's safe and why ? Different ice types ? What's involved, Resources etc ..... 50 chipped holes and you've earned the right to be called the little lake ice legend LOL.
  21. From 1.5" to 14" , there is no such thing as "safe ice" . That's how we play it, both recreationally and professionally .
  22. Yep, happened to me with ice fishing, 3 years of running Simcoe almost daily during the whole Meegs/badboy/or humpback creeper "who invented it" saga equaled ice fishing burn out LOL. Though my ice fishing spirts were rekindeled chasing ,Specks and Splake last season.
  23. To bad we didn't get to shoot! He worked his butt off while out there, ran fast and hard in all the covers. He's outta commission for awhile as at some point he sustained a good cut on his rear pad. Thx, We'll do it again. R
  24. bah!!!! at least you left me a few to swing some flies at!! Dog is in prime shape and ready for birds anytime, he's had a good season.
