We got warned once coming off of Simcoe when ice fishing. We'd put the perch on one sled got the "party fishing" speech. We just stayed very polite, thanked him for the insight and chatted with him about how guys had been doing and what charges he'd laid. I've wondered since about the livewell question when there's more than 1 person in the boat.

I do the same but I've also had good success with a simple minnow on a slip sinker.

I'd be curious tohear to-never been there myself but it's close by.

I don't go out myself but I have stopped under the Skyway to watch; last year guys seemed to be quite happy with their catches there. What amazed me was the investment they had in generators, lights & nets...

I've been told by a CO as long as you immediately release you're ok...sounds like the problem is in how each CO views "immediate"...

I'm already used to a 2 fish laker limit with a slot & 1 line through the ice, so this doesn't seem "out there".
