Sail filing for Chapter 11 restructuring
misfish replied to Headhunter's topic in General Discussion
On another note Walmart is ditching the oil and lube and tire installation part of their business. Many jobs gone now. I can not say I would take my Ram there for an oil change or tires, but it is another closing and lost of jobs. As for Sail I would hit that place way before BPS. I never found their prices over priced. Well not for what I was looking for and they had what I wanted, when I would go there. Like said by many, their staff are top notch . I can openly say the opposite for BPS. Many are there for just a job. Why have a person working in a section that they have no idea . Sail does have to many stores, thats a given. Which ones they will close will be up to them. I like the idea of the one down the road from BPS. Got to keep them honest. Cabelas here is well, way over priced and I can buy cheaper at Sail. Once this 19 is over,I hope Sail is open when I can finally get back down to my meat factory and do some good food shopping. -
So ,I guess you dropped the dime and bought the boat ?

And if one of my long hairs are in it, I just pull it out,and keep chow downing, as I know it,s mine.

Good morning Lew I was out this morning. I made my way out using my Shakespeare 55lb thrust electric motor. Top notch and gets me out there quick at a high speed of 3.6 mph. That 3 blade prop sure is sweet. My toon, built in china and shipped here to Canada, is one of the top ones out there. I was jigging with my awesomely fabricated Spro 1 pc 6.6 ft rod. Matched up with a ABU 4500 reel filled with power pro 30 lb test with a 8 ft,10 lb floro carbon leader. Great brand that Sufix is. I was using my home tied fly swim bait today. Great tied fly by that guy. I blame all the above sponsored products, as I did not catch anything . Still, thanks to my sponsors for allowing me to get out,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, 🤣 Have a great day B

And there are the ones whining about getting funds to build break walls for their cottages now. Water levels are back to norm from what I remember seeing as a kid. My pops buddy had a cottage that was on the side of the road in Honey Harbor. Water was only feet from his place. I went for a memorial drive to just see the old camping grounds. There was nothing but grass for a 100 ft or more just years ago.

That be the lake then. Thanks Lew Hope all is well with you and lady Di.

Is the lake out near Ottawa ? I fished it when I was like 12 yoa. I fished with a old fella that trolled live night crawlers with just a 1/2 oz slip weight and a small swivel as a stop with 2 ft of leader off the back with just one hook. Man, he could catch them pickeral.

Lost a pair of Maui Jim,s this winter. Must of fell of my head when I jumped a crack. They were made with readers. The area was well traveled that day. Posted on boards and no findings. $300 to replace. Good luck Ron on getting them back. -

Yes. I get a great advantage of being very low to the water on my toon. -
Think I will start tying up trebles and sell them to David. Maybe he can win some, if he can tell me the feathers and thread type used. HAHAHAHAHA
