Busy,busy day in the kitchen Today,s menu was,Chicken Lo Mein ,with veggie egg rolls and chicken balls. Even made my own sweet and sour sauce for the chicken balls. Lightly fry veggies, and let cool Wrap Onto the chicken balls Deep fry everything Blanch noodles and make mien sauce Prepare veggies and chicken for chow Make sweet and sour sauce And well Enjoy some eats

So I should tell my work that I should be working, even though they say I am off due to the effect of Covid ? I should ask for my used up holidays back? LOL No disrespect, but good luck.

Dangnabit it was a crispy morning. Arrived in Fergus 5:30 this morning to fish the Grand and it was well,,, Was a very refreshing fish this morning, but a fish would of been a real nice bonus,but I got to get more practice in. All good. The ole stogie was smoking away this morning. LOL And NO, I am not getting the hair cut. I can live with it.LOL Great seeing you again Brad. Will try and meet up in the fall again.

White fish are shallow but,it,s a where and when now. Fished the past 3 years and did good. This year not,but there was a great abundance of goby and small white fish. 5-8 ". Smelts as well.

It has been since Mid March that I have spent any close time with my granddaughter. Seeing from a distance was the rule for about 8/9 weeks now and I held her to that and said we will be close again. All the treats I had made for her and her new brother was good, but not the same as a close bound .Today finally, we had our time together. And there was no better way then for her and I make a pizza together. She had to see for herself,poppy can make all those treats I have been sending over. I have to say, I finally had a real smile on my face ( ya wiped a tear or 2 away too ) . Been to long, but we both understood and her being only a grade 3 student,she understood as well. She is one smart cookie. Didnt get it from her poppy,s side, that for sure . LOL I will let the pics do the talking. She did perfect. 🍕

I have done a few on my pontoon. I learned quick to wear nylon ladies stockings as these lakes have them blood sucking leeches. The socking keeps them off. I have found bass and perch, but that about it.

So I just watched. 1st time watcher. Explain please? All by themselves, yet there are cameras everywhere . Even one on a tripod in the water .How much time do they spend setting up the cameras, before they start to try and get their food and what ever else to survive ? Also,how dumb are the ones that have bows,yet go walking without them ? 2 of them. One seen a bear,the other a wolverine. None had their bows. LOL Also to much time spent by the guy with the hot tub. This is not club med, or maybe it is. Felt for the guy that lost his fire starter, but a good zip loc glad bag with a 1000 wooden matches would of been better IMO. Maybe against the rules ? The poor bunny was crying. So was I. LOL She did build a very nice hut though. KUDOS to here. So far,I like her chances.

I have yet to make a box for the top of my smoker, but I know it will work as a cold smoke for cheese. There is a hole on top that allows the smoke to escape. The box I build will fit on top and have a few drilled holes on top to allow the smoke to escape as well. So IMO, this will work as a cold smoke.

We had a warning come over the TV last night . I was out side around 7 pm when the winds went wild and temps dropped like a stone. I was waiting for it. Just like that, the wind went nil. That is when you know something is going to happen. Nothing did, but I can tell ya, that had me puckered pretty good. Then I grabbed a cold one and said,what ya going to do if it hits anyways . I would sooner see it coming,then in my sleep. Thats just my new crazy way these days. LOL Yer still here posting JD, and got the lovely Ticha with ya.

Have caught lakers with perch in their bellies and gullets. They do not seem to mind them, why would a musky? Maybe they are pussy cats after all . LOL
