I was down at the lake this weekend. I could feel the cold coming off the water. Pencil reeds will hold bait fish such as blue gill and sun fish this time of year. Spawning I believe.

Back when,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I lived in Brampton, late 70,s early 80,s, there were some great places to catch them. It was nothing to just stop at streams on hwy 10 and I would get them. Grand Valley was a great spot. I would walk miles and fish that area.

They sat there til the fines were paid. Owners got their boats back. The charge was over harvesting perch . I watched as the CO was over 2 miles away, watching through high tec bio,s . They had them solid . Catch,take to ramp,unload,and out again they went . They were swapping out coolers.
