  1. All sorted out now on the rubber reply?
  2. Love the 12 GA and poppy butts the most. a hint of personal touch (per cx I guess) and style. All are very impressive 'works' you have made Chris. WELL DONE SIR, WELL DONE!!!!
  3. They did make a post on FB (St Dave's folks) but no clue since. They intend to rebuild ASAP as per what I was reading.
  4. great video Simon!
  5. it's a prom-fish, take the dress off and you know it's game time...
  6. He means pike are invasive in FMZ17 and open all year round so keeping all of them no matter the size is a good thing. Musky and Tiger Musky fall under the standard Musky rules. Please keep all the pike you catch for a feed. Check out the annual Balsam Pike Fest...
  7. Yes! FMZ17 pike is open all year as they are invading so yeah please keep and eat all pike (no matter the size)
  8. As per my lack of hockey love for the past 2 years (other than me 'woohoo dance when Dion left TO') and even following a game since that prior moment. What's going on and I sure as s__t know the Leafs didn't win the cup (mind you the final 2 or 4 could still be going as I type)
  9. great vid! funny how they react and the water changes... I was watching a solo musky feeding today at the locks in Lindsay with the kids. It was all about the perch and gills so it must have done it's 'dance' ans we noticed some good marks on it's back too (from anything inc logs or even a prop)
  10. kids don't want to fish and I'm sick as a dog, what else to do today...

  11. I too go there...
  12. i hope the kids want to fish this Sat for some perch in Orillia

  13. There is just something to/about a live worm that makes most fish want to eat it. maybe they should make a worm sent spray vs crayfish and or garlic...
  14. You do know that was in jest right?
  15. the comment did bother me a bit too but I let it slide. Cliff, you as a parent is not the call here in this post in how you educated your own son. Your ask was "what's wrong in this day and age" the way page one came off... This era we all work hard and younger kids like mine whom are 12 and 9 EXPECT unlimited internet as the normal. You may be 70, I'm 42 but not one day moving forward will be the same. Maybe you can start holding out your hand like the youth of today is?
  16. please share those winning loto 649 numbers with me. No need for more kids than the 2 I have but would like some room to fathom the idea...
  17. Growing up there I watched those changes and SMH too... Correct! However, the "new generation" has technology advantages others never had. BUT they have as I will say "typist hands" or soft skin and don't want to break a nail or even a sweat for a dollar. They would much rather take $10 an hr standing still vs $20 and working for it. I may have grown up in Markham but I worked ASAP for everything I had. My older sister was I think phase one of the "gimmy erra"
  18. Hero just for that!

  20. The "Purple Rain" album was the one that made me say "whaaaat?!!" with songs like Darling Nikki. Not only could he push boundaries in the words used but he really pushed it in how things sounded. He sang vocals in any note that a man and or woman strive to hit but he let loose on a guitar like Jimmy H would. He was "ALL IN" with what he did every time. Did I like all his stuff, nope, not a lot of it, but he was a GREAT musical being and VERY talented with HIS ART form.
  21. I was ice fishing with sinclair a few years ago and we got checked. I was on a borrowed ATV and he (the CO) asked me for my info in the ATV (papers and ins) and my fishing Lic. I said here is my fishing lic but as per the ATV I am borrowing from my uncle that lives over *point* there so he said ok go get the paperwork and I'll wait here while your buddy and I go over his info then. I took off and came back and zero issues (for me). Up front and honest they are all like us, real people and easy to work with. 100% the easier you are to deal with the easier it all becomes. Even "youngone" and I were stopped at the boat ramp on my folks lake, asked how the bite was and what we had kept. The CO asked if he could measure the fish to ensure we were not breaking any rules so we said sure, he looked at what walleye we had; grabbed it and held it up to the sticker we used in the boat to measure and he said "nice fish and have a great day". They are just doing a JOB and there is ZERO point for us to get all bent out of shape when they ask us for info as we are in 'good standing' unless you ARE breaking the rules...
  22. Oh now THAT WAS GOOD!!!!!!!!
