Let's say you rent one every other weekend. $300 x 8 weekends over 2 years time frame = $2,400 you could have spent on a "car topper" size used boat and motor. Just something to consider if you have a truck/car/van/suv that can tow one or put on the roof...

Yeah we work odd hours. Our goal was walleye but we found a few spots that looked good and well as you can tell worked out. Went out again last night the same time 7 - 10pm and found 2 muskies surfacing and showing off their fin and tail but not willing to play... I'm sure the one was this very fish posted above.

if you cannot buy one try tying on one of the following...

take one of each and pair it to the rod you have set aside for this reel and see how they feel together and then return the other? Or keep is as an early or late b-day gift...

when the Ci4 first came out I got one and a got an FJ. I sold the Ci4 before I even spooled it with line and paired it to a rod only because I didn't like the stock handle that was on it. Both are nice reels but I would have had to spend more to change the handle to one I like. Go play with both then decide. I spent the cash to play with both and I was lucky to make my cash back on the one I didn't like...

So a buddy from work ask's me if I can fish for a bit this evening on Sturgeon Lake for some walleye and or musky. I say sure and we are on the water by 7pm. Hit up a few of his spots and zero. I asked him to move to a spot that looked ok using the Nav app on my phone and 2nd cast... He's got his new PB 45" musky. As you can tell from the SE-grin he was HAPPY! The fish is off and well to fight another day... No walleye were harmed in the making of this post...

Have to wonder if someone found a "golden" one and didn't even look at it for that but just wanted the lure for the price and picked some up to replace lost lures and or got it as a gift for someone. If I was given one as a gift I sure wouldn't be thinking "does it have gold font?" for the Rapala paint job on the body... Still a good deal for those that use those lures for sure. So much for me selling all mine @ $5 each...

when I use a frog these are the one's I use and have used for the past two years. the rabbit fur leg ones have crazy action and it's a solid strip of fur so it cannot be pulled off/out.

Because at night a dark colour on top when a fish looks up 'they say' is easier for a fish to see.
