  1. I would have him send the prop pic's to United Propeller & Machine in Orillia and see what they say. I bet it can be fixed. http://www.unitedpropeller.ca/
  2. When I was a kid we would have to do a dump run up in Haliburton and one time mid day there was 4 walking around the dump. I was in the car with my sister, Grandmother and Nana (Great Grandmother) and she got out and pitched the bags as one was walking towards the car. It climbed right up on the hood the second she closed the car door... In the past week or two my folks have seen some bears in the Burnt River area. Right on the road at the house/cottage in the day.
  3. he's lucky in a way, that he and the others didn't get hurt and or thrown from the boat.
  4. my ridem' isn't working and my push one is messed up too. just don't have the cash for new or to be fixed so...

  6. The play by play FB msg's yesterday were funny! Great pic's bud!
  7. I can attest to these posts. 18' bowrider is a nice ride for my area but sucks for fishing room and there is no live-well in my boat...
  8. Now that's funny...
  9. even with all the rain we found most of the day to be just under 80* of the trolling motor finder. Even in over 50' of water.
  10. So Ernie and I got out today to Chandos for a while and the hot ticket for the day was an x-zone slammer "Simcoe Craw" and with the 'schooling' I was getting from E I sure did know it... LOL! Don't know the total fish count for the day but that bait worked for a trout, pike, bass and perch! Thanks for the good day and lesson! I'll let him post the pic's if he want's to as I haven't downloaded them to my pc...
  11. When are you in Lindsay next? I still have that 9.9 that Cliff fixed up for me. I got lucky and when my buddies 15hp had the same issues I found the problem and fixed it for him.
  12. time to also consider a different jig head, one with a wire keeper works great!
  13. this is something you SHOULD BE LOOKING AT there huey graphite
  14. I watched a few last night (just a meteor passing by) just a bit North of Lindsay but they were all way up there.
  15. I wouldn't trust him with a bottle rocket let alone the power to launch a nuke! Google image the "Trump Tower in Toronto" and have a look at the peak of the building. I sure does look like the building is giving the city the finger! Why, cause he wanted his building taller and was told how much it was going to cost to move all the towers from the one building to his so he cut it short but left a 'peak'
  16. Yeah Brian let me know as if it's not a kids weekend for me then I tend to have a Thurs off as I'm forced to work the non-kid's weekends. I'll be there from Aug 21 to 24 (maybe even 25th) if your plans change.
  17. well then ask the Mrs to pick you up some. Then when your drag is screaming out there you wont have to worry about the leaches, the suckers maybe but not the leaches...
  18. Keep UP the research! now for a laugh, go to youtube and search for "pokemon go francis spent $400". There is a few to many foul words me to to post it here...
  19. Well done Mr B!
  20. Thanks Thanks Its just too bad that summer is almost over. BUT they will have them there for years to come I hope. See you tomorrow @ 4PM FolatnFly!
  21. correct, for the kids!
  22. Mike is one SOLID guy when it comes to helping others! I've know him for a few years now and see it all the time. Here is our letter to the camp. Dear Kinark Child and Family Services I recently came across a posting on a fishing website with someone looking for old fishing hardware that is still in good condition for the camp kids to use. Well, we all here at WidowMaker Lures Canada LOVE the idea of having kids get hooked on fishing because it is truly a great part of our heritage and OUR passion here. When I told the owner we need to help he was on the phones and email right away looking for rod’s and reels for your ‘guests’ as that is not part of our current product line. Please accept these items as our donation to you for the kids to use and enjoy for many years to come. Regards, Geoff Warwick Director of sales, marketing and customer relations WidowMaker Lures Canada Mike Oakley Owner and President of WidowMaker Lures Canada
  23. First and foremost I have to thank the owner of WidowMaker Lures Canada for helping out! The primary provider that was to supply 14 combo's for the kids stopped responding to him and finally said "sorry it's too late now". So he made some calls and some more email's today I was able to go pick up 20 brand new combo's to donate to the camp... I'm meeting with FloatnFly Sun afternoon so he can get them where they need to be ASAP!
  24. so are you out fishing testing "your drag?!?"
