  1. HAHAHAHA! My daughter liked them I guess because she logged into her netflix account and watched #6 this morning...
  2. It was, we watched 1, 2, 4 and 5 (cause 3 wasn't that good)!
  3. I know it's out of the $ range I'm sure based on the budget for what ecmilly has but I said my reply based on products out there that I have used on the higher end.
  4. you should get a lot of replies but after being in a few buddies boats I say look at the Lowrance line. Yeah I just got a "bird" but mine isn't a GPS unit and it's for the ice season and was an Ins. thing... I found looking at the screen on the Lowrance (HDS) vs Helix (bird) in ecmilly's boat I found the HDS easier to read and it was spot on!
  5. The biggest question back is the price range you are trying to keep it in?
  6. I sure hope Jenn can get up and around soon man and it's nothing crazy!
  7. So my parents place is finally all fixed on the inside now from the spring flood and I lost a few items I kept there. My dad's been going back and forth with the Ins company on replacement items and that's almost done. I had a 7" 'FishTV' camera that was killed and you can no longer buy them new as a replacement unit when it comes down to "like for like". So I gave them 3 options (limited places for my folks to shop so they said Canadian Tire to buy items) to send back as "it's a portable unit for summer and ice fishing". Well today I woke up and when I went to the kitchen I can see something on the floor at the top of the stairs (raised bungalow) so coffee had to wait... The Ins company approved of my one item on the list of three to buy as a replacement... So I now have a nice new Hummingbird PMAX 197C portable fish finder! Cannot wait to test this thing out this winter! http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/humminbird-pmax-197-portable-fish-finder-0790617p.html#srp Then it was off to North York after lunch. Met a great person off another site and struck a deal on almost all my musky gear. Sad to sell it but I have been off work for a bit with medical reasons so I had to part with it to make some cash. I didn't use any of it this year so it's not a big deal to pass it on to someone else looking for a deal. One thing I will say is that I HATE the 401 at anytime of day! It's non-stop crazy busy both ways! It took me over an hour at 4pm to get from Sheppard and Leslie to HWY 7 and Durham 30 and I even took the 407 for a bit. No 401 at all on the trip back to pick up my kids and head home after seeing how packed it was already headed East. Glad to be home and have my kids this weekend... So how was your day?
  8. VERY NICE B!! And as for the editing, you did good "fudge, fudge, fudge, FUDGE!"
  9. Best way for that is "I'm heading out to 'xyz' area tomorrow if anyone is looking to meet up and get out and meet and share tactics"...
  10. welcome to the active side of the board, once you start posting you will get to know more and more people and may even get out fishing with some soon. Oh and you don't need to post a report in real time. After you are done driving you can post

  12. Thank you all. Going to give it another try after I get my errands and chores done.
  13. I sure hope not... If I can I sure will!
  14. Thanks I would hope so based on the user name Anyone else?
  15. Hey all. I see people all the time keep fish of all sizes and I've never kept crappie personally. I did find/catch a few 13.5" ones this evening locally and a friend asked me now to keep her some for a fish fry next time I go. I considered keeping these two cause they had thick backs but I didn't have anything to transport them home in as I went to the river to fish for bass today. So, what size do you keep?
  16. Decided to hit the local river to do some bass fishing for an hour or so and noticed some crappie... Lucky for me I had 2 micro jigs in my bag and I hooked into 2 very nice slabs! Decided to give them to the guys not to far away who were there to actually target them... Both were 13 1/2". Those little buggers are fun!

  17. *PHEW* I have 20 more years to go of good times! sorry, I just couldn't resist that one...
  18. You maybe done with musky but I see panfish in your future Lew...
  19. When the first plane hit we cut our cable internet at work and plugged in a TV as we had Q107 on at the time as well. Next thing I did was call my sister and wished her a happy birthday and as I did so I said "this is one nobody will ever forget". My office at the time was very close to the Bottonville Airport and it was creepy for the next few days to say the least...
  20. I get that Joe (as I'm sure others do too) but I take it he got the Rapala I told him about on sale and likes it. Me, I can pick up a Shimano for $50 or less and have zero issues with it. I like how they feel and that I can go get warranty work done close to home is all. If AUB or others had a local warranty place to me then I'd give those brands a try too (and I have in the past and not been happy with the product after a short time).
  21. Same as I get a great product and it's not too far to go for warranty or service.
  22. Yes we DO!!
  23. Seen them there years ago fishing a club event. All the size of a dime to nickle
  24. BAAHAHAHAHA!
