  1. If I recall, that IS the name of his toon... LoL!
  2. And who want's to speak to him?!?!? At least Rick posted useful info for his type of fishing and the cooking thread.
  3. Most make's it's 6000KM now per oil change. The Oil Life Monitor in car's now is based on an algorithm as to how you drive and current oil pressure so I never trust those as they are just another part that can fail. Synthetic oil is better, yes, however the oil filter hasn't changed in quality or design. So... To me, your Jeep can sit for a few more months as long as you check the fluid levels 10 min after a drive (on flat ground).
  4. I spoke to him on the phone last night, he's alive and doing okay. He was a bit taken back that people here wonder how he's doing too. He said he may stop in for a visit (here).
  5. Thanks all for the replies so far, keep them coming. The reason I said next big thing is due to boat access, are more going to go this route?
  6. As per the subject, anyone here thinking this may be your next venture in fishing, from a kayak? These units I have seen can be close to $2000 for the ones you use foot power for but I am thinking I may just dive into this way of fishing. I haven't ever fished from one to know if I'd like it but I have fished from many a boat and or canoe trip. And they have easy water access. Thoughts form others thinking about going this route too? Yeah I STILL want a boat but this is an idea that I can take small solo trips locally in time. *edit to add - I am moving in May and I will be close to a river is why I am thinking this
  7. Have a Happy Easter Albert and all others here too
  8. I loved that soup too Albert till I became allergic to mushrooms. Hence the change up to another cream based soup. The soup makes it nice and rich with the cheese.
  9. Dan, I struggle daily because my kids are with my ex and cannot come here. My daughter who is 16 has begged me twice since this all started to come live here and sadly I have had to say sorry but no. I would love it if she did but with what's going on, she has to stay put... I will fully admit that I have my very emotional moods missing my kids, parents and friends but I know it's for the best to do so. Good luck all and try and stay sane. Geoff
  10. Sorry, the broth I spoke of is a cream based soup.
  11. I fell your pain, everyone. My kids are 16 and 13 now and I can't see them. My folks, can't see them either. Lucky side is Sue has been living with me almost a year so she's stuck here, LoL.
  12. Yup, sliced potatoes, onion, cheese and a broth (celery is safest broth to use for those with allergies) and if you want it a tad bit crispy some bacon bits and or bead crumbs. Cheese!!!
  13. It's all good Terry. May is still a little while away
  14. Hey Mr B, got any pic's of Terry's Fisher with the 70 on it by chance?
  15. Looking good. Mr B knowing you are not on Facebook here are a few jig ideas for you from Big Jim that he recently posted.
  16. Turn it around so you can sit in it and watch fishing shows on tv man!
  17. In the Kawartha's every year there is a long fire ban and it started on Monday here.
  18. Yup, it's a sad, SAD day that more and more boat ramps are getting closed in the past 24 hours. Most are run by the Cities so it's a 'park' and it's now closed off too. This season is really going to suck.
  19. I got one done a few years ago at K C's Custom Boat Top's near Fenelon Falls and been very happy with the quality.
