Hey Cliff. If there is ever a day you need something but it's not urgent check with me via text or PM as I might be needing to go out and I would happily drop it off at your door. PS: The Mrs and I move over to Riverview Rd in May so I'll be even closer.

Sue and I just watched this: Spencer Confidential and it was good. Enjoy if you check it out. *damn you Netflix!*

Before my 'work' closed we would safety trailers as a add on to what other items we did at the shop (general car shop). I wasn't a tech but my guys had me order the items they needed to fix things for a safety. A Breakaway trailer switch is only like $15 at CarQuest and places like it. And it's easy to replace. https://www.napacanada.com/en/p/NUP89102

Well with my luck and the way the world and weather is going I wont get to test this unit out till the boating season. But I thank you all that have replied.

They have to support it as long as there is warranty. After that if it is a known common issue they will still support it, with in reason...

I guess I shouldn't have gotten those 2 boxes of Q-tips as I am really not too sure I want to hear all the Bull being hyped among the actual factual truth. Can I trade them for some beer please as I think my local beer store may be sold out. Crap I need smokes too. I'm screwed, little smokes and beer... But hey I got that new truck. LoL!

Safe travels Mr Cliff. My parents were to head to FLA on Friday and they have friends there that are now heading home and told my parents they can use the house if they want to chance it. My parents are not chancing it and staying home.

So I went to Burnt River yesterday to see my folks and today we left there and took my son home in Brooklin (Whitby North) and then back to Lindsay. When in an 80 zone the cruse was set to 93 and my average per 100k was 11.1/100 on gas. Yes I passed people and drove like a normal person and not flooring it all over the place but getting up to speed quick when needing too. It's WAY better on gas than my Ram ever was! Still no wind noise to be heard. The only thing I can feel when in cruse control at 93 is a little shift what feels like a tranny bump but I know it's not that; it's dropping down from 8 cylinders to either 6, 4 or even 2! At 93 on a flat road the RPM's are 1200 to 1300. So far I am impressed! Even my father who has a 2018 F350 is very impressed with the look and features of this truck. Thank you all for the kind words too, cheers.

Thank you all. Hey G, this one has the 10 speed tranny in it. As for wind noise, nothing here (yet) and I was driving at 93Kph for a while and there was come crazy cross winds blowing but it was quiet. My 2017 Cruze Hatchback had a LOT of wind noise too. My plans trailer tow wise is it will tow a boat and or a small enclosed trailer for a track bike. Not too sure on a camper in my new future but one never knows...

I just want to make sure I have enough food, beer and smokes if I am told to lock up for 14 or so days. Those with health issues are the ones to be concerned about getting ill. The older you are and or the weaker your immune system is, the harder it will hit. Look at the stat's between the FLU and this and then make your own judgement call to a few things (like hype).

Hey all So I am getting a Humminbird Helix 7 CHIRP SI GPS G2 and I am not a 'newer' sonar user. Is there any tips or tricks you can think of for ease of use and or dialing it in to get better readings of the screen? Anything to help is some great shared info. and I thank you for it. Sadly it will still be a bit before I can rig it and water test it so I will just be dreaming till those days get close and I might be asking more questions about it too. Cheers.

So the past year I have had some changes going on work wise and relationship wise (wait this is stating off sounding odd based on the title of the post). Changed shops, still in the auto industry as an advisor but with a smaller private place vs a dealership. Met a woman 18 months ago and things are going so well I asked her to marry me (2nd time's a charm if the 1st failed, right?). I recently listed and sold my house in less than in week for over asking price too. So what's this new toy you say? I decided to get back into a truck. Tomorrow I pick up my new 2020 Sierra 1500 Elevation edition all blacked out in what they call Pacific Blue. After the house sale is closed in early May it just might be time to boat shop too. Thanks for reading and have a good one all. It's going to feel great to be back in a truck vs my little 2017 Chevy Cruze. It was/is a good car but I need some more space.

Thanks Mr B. I will be honest I have spent a few bucks trying for items but YES I am still ahead of the game cost wise.

So I won this the other day on a raffle site, anyone else have this unit? Likes, dislikes, thoughts? Thanks.

It's scary how often I speak of Jen to this day. She was and still IS a HERO to many!

I have to ask, where is/was he planning to ice fish in FLA?!?!??
-
As the topic is named, anyone here ever been there fishing (or in general)? The MRS and I are thinking about heading there for the honeymoon in Mid Sept 2020 for a week and she does fish too. Not much, but she does. She want's a spa day and shopping where I get to golf and or fish. If so, places to check out in general and or fishing related info would be great. We are not set on this location at this time but it's an idea. It's either here or Banff Springs area AB. Thanks all. G
