  2. " don't go fishing without the net"..... great line...
  3. I know of the birds you speak of... My grandfather ( farmer) was visiting us in Stratford many years ago and a swan decided that we were too close to its cignets and took a swipe at grandpa with his wing... Grandpa took a swing back with a lawn chair.... the birds took off!.... and yes I know... grandpa was wrong... but he is a farmer and he shows the animals there who is the bosss... he wasn't used to the "sissified ONTARIO chickens" yet ! lol
  4. so far nobody has asked ME for advice lol But if they do and they act like you say this one... rest assured... I WILL "OUT" THE jerk !

  6. Nope... locally... I sent an email to his store and a clerk called me back saying they didn't have any... a couple hours later the owner of the store called me and said he had one collecting dust in the back room... the clerk didn't know about it I guess .... 8. ummm.. .that's a little BIG for the lake we fished for Ryan's tournament
  9. I love night time fishing.... and ESPECIALLY with a Scum frog.... it comes across the slop so well and when a fish hits it... they usually chomp right down on it... not sure if its the size of it or the fact it something moving on top of the slop... but the fish HAMMER IT when they go after it... As already said, and you seem to know already, setting the hook AFTER you FEEL it is key.... Truly a different set of senses that WE are operating on while night fishing... here are a few pics to keep u going note the scum frog in its mouth here is a Glow in the dark Scum Frog not sure why this one is so odd looking,, but again at night and one I caught recently just after dark go get em... they are fun at night.... and don;t let the noises in the woods spook you TOO much :P an

  22. I hooked up my Motorguide 36 lb thrust on the side of it...creates quite the wake.... the only problem is that it sits too close to the canoe the way I had it rigged... I need to sort out an arm off the side of some sorts.... Hoping Dabluz has a photo or some one else does that has a side mounted trolling motor on their canoe... We were a little pressed for space this am on it so we decided to paddle i sure wished i had the trolling motor on it in the wind on the way back...
