  4. Dang. Rich, we're gonna have to split the winnings. lol
  5. My guess would be Burbot. What do I win?lol
  6. Last night came home from work, exhausted, and the wife says she wants to go out somewhere expensive..... So I took her to the gas station. ....And that's when the fight started.
  7. Great report! Luv the Madawaska, my ol' training grounds from when I was a wee minnow. Great water, scenery and opportunities for a mixed bag. Thanks for sharing!
  8. I have no info on the lake but just wanted to second on the cool avitar. Best I've seen yet. It's hillarious
  9. Yep, that herpes virus. Too many hooking carp.
  10. Great intro, welcome!
  11. I couldn't care less about the charges or Mr. Page's habits. I would be concerned about the process of search and seizure though. It is the US however.
  12. As always, wicked report. Luv the bass action video. New lakes are always so much fun. Good reason to get a handheld gps like you mentioned. Thanks for sharing
  13. Nice fish, nicer t-shirt, lol. I have a theory on the braid v. mono when jigging, which could just well be me blowing smoke out of my but anywho. Because braid has virtually no strecth and is more sensitive, when you feel a bite you set the hook too early and pop the jig out of the fish's mouth instead of getting in a good hook set. Whereas with mono, the bite felt is delayed by the milliseconds needed for the fish to get a good grip on the bait and the stretch in the mono allows for a more consistant hook set. I notice I get more fish hooked when jigging with mono or a long lead than with straight braid. Just a theory
  14. Dude, I went to that lake as well. About a 20-30 minute, cab bouncing ride dodging huge jack rabbits in their F-350 supercab listening to Guns and Roses? Awsome lake. I'm looking forward to that report.
  15. Just shows ya that when the drunkin' munchies come 'round everything tastes great!
  16. Nice pics. I've got friends in their twenties that are still scarred to hold fish, lol.
  17. Man that sucks. same thing happend to me years back with my German short-haired pointer. Addy79, my brother and I combbed the streets just as you have. Never found her, hope your story ends differently. All good suggestions here. Best of luck UF!
  18. I broke a finger just months back. Got it xrayed, but the doc told me a cast is not needed in most cases. Place the splint ON TOP of the broken member and wrap selfadhesive bandage around to fit tight. I am fully certified in first aid and proudly hold the only reported office accident, lol. As a member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee I hope my record stands. Remember to splint on top, 6 weeks and you'll be fine.
  19. Good on ya for putting him on as fish. Where/how was it caught?
  20. sweet tat!
  21. You did the right thing doubleheader IMHO. Safety first, no sense in fumbling for a camera when you and yours are put in harms way. Glad everyone was ok and this windbag will get his one day seing as he pulls manouvers like that.
  22. Great job out there guys. Practicing CPR (catch, photo, release) on the big ski's.WTG
  23. Nice report Teamster! Dang, Stoty sure set the bar high for a 21 1/2 inch bass. Nice looking fishies.
  24. I got skunked that trip but then again, I wasn't into the plastics and couldn't get a feel for when to set the hook. It was just a bad year for me. It happens. The smallies were hitting on tube jigs. White with some silver flake sparkle.
