  2. I like the T bracket better than the floating ice-ducer. If theres any currant or Im using a spoon like the williams wobbler that drifts out to the side I can tilt the transducer on what ever angle I want.
  3. My uncle and cousin just got back from a week there. I havent been talking to them yet to see how they made out. Sounds like a great place !
  4. sticky dart poker.... A deck of cards is spread out and taped to a chunk of plywood and you use a sticky nerf gun to shoot your 5 cards.
  5. THis is the release that I use. http://www.fish307.com/BigJonFreeNEasyRelease.aspx Im sure that braid would work just fine with this type.
  6. I had a pike tooth in my finger for about a month once. I figured it was just infected and kept popping the top and soaking in peroxide until one day I got mad and squeezed it so hard a tooth popped out. That was about 5 years ago and I still have a bump on my finger from it.
  7. Good call on mitchel. My grandparents live on canal and they say the fishing sucks this year. There are a few big musky in there tho.
  8. Kashe lake is close to it. I think it is right on the kashe river but im not sure if you can fish anywhere or not.
  9. I can pull off the rubber output line on the top and blow into it and I can get bubbles in my barrel of water so I don't think its clogged up. The "fins" on the impeller come straight out and I had to bend them to put it in. When I move the prop back and forth the " fins" flop one way and the other so it cant be in backwards. With the engine running I can feel air blowing out of the rubber output hose.. Thanks guys
  10. My 1982 merc 9.8 wont spit out water. I changed the impeller and I can blow air through all of the lines but it still wont pump. Before I take it to the shop does anyone have any sugestions?
  11. You need the extra bag to carry that thing around with you .
  12. My grandparents live on canal lake up by the end with the locks. The last few years we have found the fishing to be going down hill big time.
  13. Reminds me of something a buddy of mine once said ...." I havent missed one that I have hit yet "
  14. If you are going to buy more chokes for your gun check out als corner store. http://www.alscornerstore.ca/ They sell carlsons choke tubes and thats what I have replaced all of my tubes with. You dont need a million different chokes. I have a mod, full, and a turkey choke. I have never shot slugs but dads fixed mod choke gun spits them out pretty good.
  15. Its fine to shoot slugs from that choke. My dad shoots slugs out of his modified choke no problems. For buckshot I use full choke. I just wouldnt shoot slugs out of anything tighter than a modified or you can damage the barrel.
  16. Dont forget to take a schticky just in case you catch a shedding pussy.

  17. Nice buck !! I would have been shaking so bad lol. A member of our camp took the same shot at 15 yards and had the same results. I would have likely taken that shot too. The speed of the bows these days doesnt give them much of a chance to move at that yardage. At first I thought you were sitting in a bunch of pot plants lol Congrats ps... Looks like a bowtech ? I had the 101st airborn until I messed up my shoulder and went to a xbow.
  18. scouting for perch festival tags?
  19. Are those what I have heard people call french suckers?
  20. Thanks guys . Total battery was actually more money than crappy tire so I think I will just get that one.
  21. Im looking for a battery for my 2006 arctic cat 400. Crappy tire has them for $72 but I figured I would ask around before I drop the coin on that one. Thanks.
  22. What caliber are you looking at? I have a marlin .32 special and its a great gun but not what you call a field shooter.
  23. Yep 2 different deer for sure. That Big one sure would be a dandy to see walking around with that cool kicker sticking out the back. Those 2 deer could be father and son. They are similar in shape and that little bit of a paddle near the tips.
  24. They can even serve as a flotation divice if there is some air caught up in them. In school they made us jump in the pool wearing chest waders. MYTH BUSTED lol
  25. Thanks for the info guys . I cant wait to get it in the water and get some slime on it. It was left to me by the wifes late grandfather so before I take it out she wants to paint a name on it and a green shamrock.
