  1. Great looking flies for sure very nice work. I loved fly fishing pike and bass in Sudbury but would get broken off alot from pike I had to light of equipment back then. Keep at it your on the right track Chris.
  2. Like all here thank you for the update we are still sending positive thoughts to Simon.
  3. Here are a couple pics Adam. I also cut a 1/4" plywood for the bottom do the hooks don't get stuck into the bag
  4. Adam home hardware on Keil drive has the stuff you want it's around $20 a section just cut it to 10" lengths and you will get 12 sections you can fit 2 bulldogs in each tube or 4-7 bucktails or 2 jakes 3 double D's. you can get alot of baits into them. What I used was for a bag was the soft sided cooler bags from CTC they go on sale all the time I use both sizes 48 can cooler bag and 96 can cooler bag the bigger one is the size of the large $200 musky bags out there you can build it for $60.
  5. Like Harrison said they now have bigger inline boards that guys like. I run the Off Shore orange boards in late fall with big biats every fall I can run my 9" thumpers,10" jakes,10"beleivers, and yes double 10 blades behind them. But I am also running alot slower 3mph or less and the baits are close to the boards. I like them better then the churchill boards as there is a clip in the back of them where my line goes through then I changed out the standard clip that was on the board for one of my small scotty clips they work great. in the summer months and early fall I run my big boards unless Im out on my own and taking a break from casting then I might put a inline board out. But if I am trolling for the day my big boards and mast come along for the ride. I use the small in the fall for the reason that I have the canopy up and have turned into what I call a HARD CORE PANSY MUSKY FISHERMAN!!! that means to me that I will fish in any weather no matter how could as long as the top is up LOL. I laughed at guys that had covers until I got a boat with one now I would never buy one with out it. Sorry off topic.
  6. That right there was funny I don't care who you are.
  7. Awesome ice season for you for sure Mike thanks for sharing it with us. As for the cancer treatments I have never been through it myself but fought along with my brother father and some very close friends. The secret I have seen is bieng positive and having a end goal in mind and keeping it the main target. People I see that have lost there battle fast usually dont have loved ones or have a reason to keep fighting so they go fast. From reading your threads over the years I can see you have a reason so keep the fight strong on your down days think of what you want to be here for. Know that the OFC family will be here even if each member does not post on the threads I bet they are thinking of you and our other members going through the same battle. Best of luck in the coming months.
  8. we had a 1992 40hp 2 stroke it was a awesome motor ran great until I sold the boat then the guy who had it was a tool and messed it up I got it back fixed it plug wire was all it needed until I sold it again and the next guy busted it up good I guess he waqs slamming big waves on LSC and cracked something inside but it was no fault of the motor just the tool that bought my boat.
  9. That sounds like a awesome idea and good reward to extend your life.
  10. I want to but my little girl turns 13 so I will be spending the day with her. Sunday I will be recovering. I know there are a bunch heading there have a blast
  11. Go into settings then privacy then location settings and make sure your camera is turned off this will help you. I also have photobucket turned off. I keep location service turned on for other things.
  12. Dang Kevin that sucks as I had plans for that to d ounderwater footage and not have it running all day. On the bright side I can just get the hero 2 for underwater shots and leave it on all day I guess. Thanks for the info the same.
  13. Hey terry if you could please try the remote with the camera about 2'-3' under the water as I want to remotely turn mine in and off beside the boat that would be awesome. What light did you use gopro or the other camera? Thanks mike
  14. Nice Terry I am looking into getting one or two of them for this year I like the wifi feature and that is the thing I want them for the most.
  15. Thanks again Roy I just got a email from Dave the guy who runs it. April 20th is the date they are working on the details they will have 40 booths if anyone wants one. I will have totalk to the wife and see what our plans are as it is a week after the odyssey. I would like to go just to meet up with people I know from the board and have not met yet. Last year it was from 9am-1pm. If its not posted when I get the info back from him I will also post it. Thanks again for teh help I will try and remember the other sections. One thing I dont like about them is you can not reply I know its for announcements but its hard to get answers whe nyou can not reply. I also know you can Pm but I would guess that others might have the same questions.
  16. Yea I saw that late last night or early today I keep on forgetting about the section as I usually check in on the phone. I read the one from London but did not see the Hamilton one there. Thanks Roy
  17. If you know there is another one in London please lmk I would be interested in heading down to check it out. Maybe even get a table. When is the Hamilton one? Last I heard it was the weekend after the muskies Canada odyssey. Does anyone have info on it?
  18. That is awesome I remember taking my daughter out when she was that young it was awesome keep he interested
  19. I gave it a good thought to go into the show but it cost alot to get into a show in T.O. And I would have to sell alot to just cover the expense for hotel food and fuel for 4 days. If it was cheaper for us small guys then I'm sure they would get more different booths into the show.
  20. Depending on the body of water I would. If it was a small lake most Likley not but on lsc I would as it would be hard for people to figure out as it all looks the same. I would not want to share the GPS cords on the show. I had a friend and his wife get freaked on by a very well know fishing pro. They were fishing a body of water he guides on and fishes alot they caught some nice musky he came over and flipped his lid saying they were on his spot. These two fish all over from lsc to PQ and always find fish but this day was ruined by one person who thought he owned the water. It does show no matter how many times we go to our hunny hole one day some one might be there by accident or by the same luck we had finding it.
  21. Like Ron I'm a little out of range to help out.
  22. I will be watching Over my daughters 13th bday party gotta start taking down the boys right now lol. Hope you all have a great time
  23. Awesome Pete keep up the killer work
  24. Pm outlaw he knows alot he might have seen them in the past
  25. Actually most of there stuff at BPS is hard to tell as when BPS orders from them they get the mounts in and then have there own painters dull the fish to make them look old and not out do the other mounts. Yes this info comes right from them. The bear looks great they sure do awesome work. I will be getting a musky done this year I hope. Stop by my booth at the muskies Canada odyssey to check out one of our own OFC's musky mounts I can't wait to see it.
