  3. Lots of times BPS will call you or send you a ticket and ask you to authorize the additional charges for Duty/Brokerage.
  4. I'm pretty sure I just saw a new lowrance handheld model in the BPS master catalog.
  5. You can plug your info into pretty much all the "direct" insurance companies websites and get a quote back within seconds.
  6. I know Steve, and am just bugging him. I know he's reading this!
  7. For a second I thought this was an NRX advertisement! Way to go Steve, Dad & Aaron.
  8. If I was looking for something in that price range I'd look at some of the new Abu Garcia rods. I saw them in BPS on the weekend and for $80-$100 they look and feel like nice rods.
  9. That is 100% incorrect. iPhone Gps works independent of a cell signal. All agps does is help triangulate when you're indoors or other times when it can't reach the sat. It also speeds up location when a cell signal is available.
  10. New episodes of extreme angler and hook n' look have been airing Fridays for the last month
  11. I have one I'm looking to get rid of. It's a purple fin-bore 4". Used once.
  12. I've been very happy with my 31x10.5 Duratracs. Mud or snow, they've never let me down. Can't say the same for my rear diff though!
  13. If you're buying all-season tires, make sure they have the Mountain/Snowflake symbol. This was one of the deciding factors when I bought my Goodyear DuraTrac tires for my ZR2
  14. http://www.canadianfeeders.com/products/waxworms.html 1000/$55 for "members", membership is $25 Also take note, can you use 1000 waxworms in a month?
  15. Wow, could they have ripped off the Loomis skeleton fish logo any more?
  16. Yeah, hammy harbor mutant! I'm guessing it tried to take a bite out of a trolling motor prop!
  17. There's been lots activity down there lately. Booms and workers and such. I usually see them when passing by on the GO train. Guess it's taking a while to clean up.
  18. Today I decided to work from home (gotta love software development), and I took a late lunch. Instead of going to McDonalds or cooking up a pot of KD, I grabbed the only two rods I had rigged up, a crankbait and dropshot, and headed down to the bay. With 50k winds out of the West, I was throwing my deep diving crankbait off a point but had nothing to show for it. I moved to the calm side of the point and threw my dropshot about 20ft from shore into 15fow. I let is sit on taught line and gave if a couple jiggles. I had a very light tap and set the hook on this ugly little thing! http://www.flickr.com/photos/photocentric/
  19. If you get a manual-start, just make sure it's not in gear before you pull! It can hurt!
  20. I have Boca Orange Seals in a bunch of Shimano reels. They are worth every penny. I get them dry (without lube) and give them a drop of hotsauce. You need to be careful putting the seals back on or they won't spin correctly.
  21. How come noone ever talks about the Casio EX-G1? http://exilim.casio.com/products_exg1.shtml
  22. I'd be looking for bait. Bait will be relating to cover, underwater points, and any remaining GREEN weeds/pads. Reaction baits like cranks and jerkbaits will be key if you find schooling bass chasing bait. Cold water will mean slowing down your presentation, especially with the jerkbait. Long pauses! If you find weeds, throw down a jig and let it sit (easier said than done for most).
  23. They have the new Curado 50E @ $218. That's a damn good price considering it's selling for $199 in the US. http://www.lebaron.ca/pdffiles/web_feat/shimano_curadoTDR_web.pdf
  24. They're blowing them out to make room for the sexy new 62 series. https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=143&fKeys=FILTER_SERIES_62
  25. Almost positive the 40lb salmon caught in the first week of the derby was caught from a bass boat.
