  1. love the colours on those st clair fish
  2. its bucking out very slowly no where close to 2-3mph more like medium craking speed... it doesnt have a bendable eye thinger i know about that it has like a loose swivel creation thing going down thats why i was tweaking with the lip. ill check the hooks out tho thanks so far.
  3. i bought one of those wooden plugs for some musky action but it was swimming all drunk. it would go fine until i sped it up a little then it would go on its side and wiggle to the top i tried bending the lip and stuff but it did nothing. its this kind of lure here http://www.luckystrikebaitworks.com/product.asp?p=54# any help would be great. these work good for me and i dont wanna spend more money on another until its been smashed up by some ski
  4. that bow was dam unhappy when i hooked her you would think that half a tail wouldnt let it fight so well but 4-5 foot jumps all over the place shheeeesh. imagine if it had a full tail!!!
  5. went out chucking some dry flys for some browns but the water was high and coloured from the rains we have been having. i put on a big egg suckin leech and WAM nailed a nice rainbow with some wicked jumps she was very skinny and tired out quick in the warm water. the next pool BAM this nice big butterscotch brown!! i think i can keep catching rainbows until they start running again in the fall with the way this year has been! peace.
  6. my personal favorite was fishing in a wally tourny and just before the weigh in this boat with these people that im not gona mention went over to an area that would probably never hold wally's and manage to get like 5 big ones in minutes..... BIRD CAGES THEY PUT BIRD CAGES IN THE WATER AND JACK THEM FULL OF BIG FISH BEFORE THE TOURNY!!!! tournys have to much cheatin goin on.
  7. smallies are waaayyyyy better then largies good times
  8. i was using a panther martin for browns and a little bow about 5" got hooked on it and when i was reeling it in a huge 4lb resi came out and smashed the rainbow scales and blood everywhere. i lost the brown in the dirty ass log pile it came from. ive also caught rainbows and large green spinnerbaits off the peir in the summer and about a 20lb carp on a big zara spook. crazy stuff happens all the time ... OH YA i caught a seagull the other day with a matzou.
  9. imagine pulling that freakin thing up a ice hole!?!??!!??!?!?!?? my god...
  10. big smallies LOVE thundersticks im running low myself i use to get them from cabelas dont know if they still have em... just the molded i can find oh well...

  12. yea im heading up their this weekend my old creek chub lures need more war wounds on them. so many musky's in scugog!
  13. i was just wondering what the weeds are up to these days i have not been out in a couple of weeks, i was on cameron lake and the weeds were very low and sparse. managed about 9 wallys the first night although nothing big. the biggest was about a 2lbr. but anyways im headin out to chemong this weekend to dominate the wallys and maybe some ski's if they wanna cooperate!! peace!
  14. i was on scugog once and had a stringer with about 3 nice wallys on it. i noticed the string jerking and thrashing and i looked in horror to see about a 20 pound musky mauling one of my pickeral their was 2 casualties of my walleye and the musky slowly swam away it was wild.
  15. i know where their is still lots around i think i might hit some up tommorow this pic got me pumped hope the rains didnt wash them all down !!!
  16. the trick is to good gas mileage is a green garden hose and an expertise on not getting gas in your mouth you can save 100% on gas its just that easy lol
  17. i just deal with the cuts the other weekend i fillet my finger nicely lol
  18. this is a coho i got last year i love catching them they can be so great to fight, i usually look at the tail because chinnys have spots all over the tail but cohos have them on the top and bottom no middle spots and the gums. in the fall they get some wicked colours nice reds. one year i just missed the ontario record with a 18.5lb from b-ville creek thats when it was 22lb or something DAM!! then it went to like 30 or something crazy lol
  19. cameron was about 60 2 weeks ago should be gettin HOT HOT HOT, those crappies are gona get fried up 2night for sure
  20. if you make your own lures you dont have to spend much lol.
  21. not many rocks some logs but usually loads of weeds watch your markers if your rippin her
  22. i was using a good old reliable black gnat. nothing was really hatching so i just tossed a big black gnat the wind was blowing pretty good so i figured it would look like a terrestrial or something anywas it worked.
  23. went to attempt casting some bugs for browns again this time i hit a spot thats alot more open and had little skits and blackflies although those dam red ants were angry. nailed this nice brownie it was just over a pound i also caught lots of baby salmon not sure if their chinny's or cohos. im thinking coho because the stream i was fishing gets a decent run on coho. gona get out for some more tommorow!!!
  24. the trick is finding good minnows to trap!! ive recently found a bounty of large shiners that fill my trap in a day its awsome!!. remember about all the laws about transporting minnows around aswell some are crazy but whatever
