channel cats eh!! is their any out my way bowmanville on lake ontario ive been fishing here for a long time and i have never caught one bullheads like crazy even a musky but never a channel cat

first of all what species are they targetting because their is alot of sizes and weights for fly rods and a little tip to help you out spend most of the money on the rod and line the reel doesnt do much but hold some line on it gona need some more info to help ya out

rainbow trout spawn from early spring to early summer brown trout, brook trout and all the salmons spawn in the fall rainbow trout DO NOT SPAWN IN THE FALL ive been fishing them a long time and it doesnt happen. maybe a stocker rainbow thats half retarded might have loose eggs in the fall but that doesnt mean anything. i have caught rainbows in july in the middle of lake O with loose roe...

dam lampreys are having a freaking feast on these fish every single fish had eel marks on it.

sorry to break it to ya but it gets pretty crappy off the river mouths around now most of the fish are moving up but their is always late fish ive got them in may for blanks sake woops sorry i thought the filter or something would fix that lol

rock and reel is a cool place get a beer by a lure its a cool idea guy that owns it is cool to he always orders stuff he doesnt have !!

i was thinking about trying to fly fish for some crappies this spring around simcoe area after ice out. has anybody tried this or had any luck i think it would be dam fun!!!

go deep it seems the bigger ones have been in the depths this year. over 30ft even 60 is where the big guys are i havnt been out in a few weeks so they might be moving shallower

anybody fished beech lake?, whats in their to catch ice fishing? any info would be sweet

went out to my good ol spot and punched some holes. in seconds we were into some good sized perch that would not leave my minnows and spoons alone! then when evening hit we got into some wallys nailed 3 1 of which was a hawg and lost another 3 finally got my one over 18 inches

creeks are blown with ice on them, water is muddy and its flowing ontop of ice so its not gona happen for a while...

i live in bowmanville so im gona go check in a bit but i imagine they are blown with ice on top for now...

heading up into that area and i was thinking about fishing this lake i know their is walleye in their but anythiing else? like whities, lakers, whats can be iced outa their and any tips would be sweet.

just wondering if anybody has been up their and whats the action been like ?

all you have to do is make a rod holder with a little flag on the base of it. set it so your bail can be open and when a fish bites the flag pulls down and your line free spools. dont have to look at the rod tip at all and you can fish in 100km winds lol hope this helps
