yea it was good this year i had a problem with the slot. i gave it a term known as slot f#^#D when you catch lots of cigars and big fish lotsa big ones we got!!
i caught a rainbow, smallmouth, walleye, perch and a bullhead by the big dam i think its called dennys dam? cant remember it was a long time ago.. muskies are also in their aswell
im goin up to bancroft just by baptiste for the long weekend and im gona catch me some wallys and possible lakers if their open (cant remember) but i was just wondering about some baits to try out. my plan is to troll pick up a wally and then jig the crap out of the area!
i was fishing for browns the other day in the ganny and my float went under and i set it and was like YES a 5lb brown. then it came closer and i was so angry stupid smelly ugly creatures. i bet they would be fun on a 3-4 wt fly rod tho. what ever floats ya boat!
i cant wait its like trout opener again been sharpening my jig heads for no freakin reason and watching that weather like a hawk those wallys better look out because im gona slay them. Then im gona drink a large quantity of beer and eat some yummy freakin wallys. everyone have a safe opener and may your net grace some headshakin hawgs!!!
ive kept some small gamefish here and their bass are really cool but they eat to much. just remember thats part of your possesion limit !!!! i let go my bass where i caught him from!!
beaverton is your best bet. i could tell you when where and what to use but then i would have to kill you. best bet is to go on a hunt for them. never caught a small one their always quite large use your moons and find baitfish is a good way.
hello im heading up to rice lake for walleye opener this year and after i limit out with this new small limit i wanted to start loading up on crappie if anyone wants to point me in a direction on rice that would be sweet. ive caught some huge crappie jigging for wallys in their but just random ones. i know what to use tubes and little fin S fish but some spots to try would be sweet!!
peace
brookies around here are natural and reproduce only in streams. most browns will get to a size of around 2lbs and take off downstream to lake O. some browns hang in streams for a long time like the 4-5lb resident i got last year and my camera battery died LOL seriously.
after some adventuring in parts unknown me and the cuz found mr and mrs speckle trout that were happily waiting for our worms. and a small brownie
