Thanks Woodsman.....now I'm not going to get anything done today This is a lot like google earth/maps but with more. And it seems to run much smoother on my clunky old WWII surplus computer. The NASA Terra shot is cool too.

I've never towed anything in my life but I do own a Chevy Astro van which is supposed to be very good for towing. Rear wheel drive, six cylinder, very strong transmission with a special 'towing' button (which I've never used). I think there are some other guys here who drive Astros or Safaris

I can't do it anymore either (tho' I know I'm going to spend some time in frog hell for all the nasty stuff we did to those poor little guys when we were kids) So...now I just throw them out on the water and then toss a jitterbug just behind them.

Jediangler, that is a pretty slick setup. Do you have any closer pics? This could be just the ticket for me. I had a canoe for a long time but I've developed some back troubles and don't like throwing it up on top of my van anymore. Your kayak looks like it would slip right in the back.

I remember reading an article a long time ago about black lures. This guy would paint all his lures black. His reasoning was, it's all in the action and seeing that silhouette. And black made the best silhouette...especially looking up from below. Makes sense to me.............but I'm not running out to get a can of black spraypaint.

I know! I always figured that the airlines should throw in some of this stuff with the cost of the flight. I would really like to do some of that low altitude stuff like the jet fighters do.

Love the dog stories! My lab once ate one of my work socks. I found it a couple days later coiled up in the back yard. I could have washed it out and still used it! But I didn't.
