I may be a bit paranoid, but I keep a box in the back of our van with our campstove kit and lantern, extra propane bottles and even some dry soup packets and a jar of coffee. And a duffell bag with enough sleeping bags and blankets to keep three or four people comfortable. As a former cub scout, I think "Be Prepared" is good advice.

Good for you getting out and catching some fish. It may be better than ice-fishing but it's still too cold for me.

That's a nice shot. Nice effect too. Wires are always a pain to deal with. I would consider cropping out the left side to just past the no parking sign maybe. Might take out too much though. I dunno....I'm just thinking outloud

On that day, the marine weather site was calling for 3 to 4 meter waves on Lake Erie! That's like 10 to 15 feet! If I got caught out there in a small boat, I'd be too sea-sick to worry about drowning.
