  5. Good for the MNR. Of all the pests in the woods and along the rivers and lakes, litterbugs are the worst.
  6. Looks like fun.
  7. Hi everybody. Stopped in at the Dollar store today and found these; They had a lot of these in various colors but only two sizes. The larger one is about 4 inches and the smaller ones about 3 inches. In London, Dollarama on Wellington rd. S., the plaza with the theaters.
  8. I saw one in an out-house up on the bruce peninsula a few years ago. Decided to use the bushes.
  9. Wow! Some beauty shots. Those first two could be postcards.
  10. Nice shots. The Bruce peninsula is an amazing place. We've been up there about fifty times and still find new things to see or do whenever we go. For some reason we never went to Bruce's Caves though. Looks pretty cool. Maybe next time.
  11. Live crayfish have always been one of our favorite baits here in the Thames...for smallies and carp. I've watched carp in the shallows bumping their noses into rocks and then chasing down any crayfish that come scooting out.

  15. " tested in the battle zones of Baghdad and south-central Los Angeles"
  16. I don't like picking them up at all. I got stuck right in the palm of my hand one time and it hurt for days. I'll usually grab the hook with my pliers and shake like crazy until it comes off. I like catching the big ones tho'.
  17. A 'slow woman' is one that can't run as fast as me. No offense intended to any women here.....slow or fast.
  18. Fast boats and slow women.
  19. .
  20. My first car was a '66 Dodge Valiant that I bought for $65.00. Put in a new water-pump ($25.) in the sellers driveway and drove it home. It had a push-button transmission on the dash and a rubber foot pump thing on the floor for the windshield washer. I drove it for two years and then sold it for $100.00. My favorite vehicle tho' was a '69 VW van. Traded my stereo and two boxes of albums for it. In 1980, I drove it from Vancouver to London On. in the middle of February. The gas heater didn't work and the little bit of heat that made it up to the front of the van was quickly lost in the breezes. We drove all the way wrapped up in sleeping bags and a scraper in one hand scraping the inside of the windshield. Great van for camping and touring in the summer tho'. If I ever win the lottery, I'll get another one.
  21. You can get daily water level readings from Environment Canada' site. http://scitech.pyr.ec.gc.ca/waterweb/formnav.asp Just go through the menus to find the river you're looking for. There's four stations on the Maitland including one at Benmiller. Saved me from a wasted trip a few times.
  22. Oh Canada...
  23. What if you got up one morning and it's tank was empty? I'd have to sell the house.
  24. That's a nice shot. WTG Kickingfrog.
