  1. http://news.algonquinmap.co/blog/[\url] Kind of at a loss for words here, but here's a few of the more disturbing quotes..."...it's really unreasonable to focus solely on the environmental risks. Civilization can not progress in the absence of technology""This project is expected to generate $60 million per year for Ontario Parks, and $2 billion per year for the federal government..."

  8. Yeah the tracks are sweet, but do they ever wreck the trails!! Lol
  9. Spend $50 at luremaking and you'll likely be good for life
  10. Tears for Fears are great, but they were (are??) an electronic act through and through. As for your other comments, it couldn't help but remind me that acts like Iggy & The Stooges and The Velvet Underground truly embodied the 'rock and roll' idealogies of that era so much more than the bands they were opening acts for.
  11. Well said. If you think rock music died with the stadium rock days of the 80's you're either stubborn to the point of being delusional or have no concept of a music scene outside your local FM radio stations. Maybe I'm just biased because I think Foreigner is god awful lol!
  12. Amazing job. Worth every penny for the lifetime of enjoyment you will get ouy of it, unlike those flaky skin mounts
  13. Good to see someone else out there NOT whining and gettin out and enjoying the awesome weather!!! Good catchin' to boot!
  14. And if they underestimated and the poop hit the fan then what?? Not sure what you're complaining for here. There was a chance of freezing rain, they issued their warning, it didn't happen. Seems like they did their job just fine, but maybe that's just me.
  15. Is that Blair with a centrepin??? LOL
  16. -1 and snowing since midnight...bang on forecast here
  17. First whitey and its a hawg!! RR?
  18. Cool report. Never had the (dis)pleasure of coming across those tape worms in my trout and hope i never do! I'm anticipating another good 3-4 weeks of sledding up here...gonna be a soupy slushy mess next week i'm guessing...still loads of snow on the backlakes!
  19. Quite the season you had...great pics to boot. As for the MNR-stocked rainbow lakes, there is great potential for fish up to and even much larger than those big guys!
  20. All the half tons on the market will pull that rig without even flinching
  21. Awesome! Now enjoy your feast and pray for warmer weather!
  22. Great fishing. Ling are not exclusively bottom, and are typically very aggressive and piscovorous during the winter!
