  1. Hey, some of us are habs fans...Things could be worse
  2. Hey look! A fishing report! Awesome fish guys.
  3. Nice! I love Propagandhi, but have never heard that track.
  4. You enjoyed catching an OOS fish? How shameful... Like you, it annoys me more than anything, but if I happen to be catching them while targetting other fish, then don't feel bad for having a little fun. I always catch hungry, pre-spawn bass while pike fishing in the spring.

  6. I like at least 20" behind the bouncer, usually longer (especially since you will be in clear water). If you're trolling slow, 3/4 oz or even less will be fine. 3/4 is what i use well over half the time.
  7. Don't worry about the topwaters. Husky jerks and smithwick rogues fished with a twitch-pause retrieve should find pike no problem. Try slow-trolling worm harnesses or artificals (small wablers/jointed floating raps) behind bottom bouncers until you locate fish, then jig either live bait like leeches or artificials like sassy shads once you know where they are. With this warm spring the walleyes should be hitting well and just about in summer mode by that time.
  8. I got a Fujifilm 14 megapixel point and shoot last December. It takes excellent quality HD video, but I must admit that my 3/4 year old Nikon Coolpix 8 megapixel takes better quality photos, and had far more options.
  9. Wow that is a fantastic rig you've got there. Nice fish to boot. Are you happy with your elite-5?
  10. Those are chunky! Was this on the big eagle?
  11. Don't read into things too hard, now...
  12. Tasty photos...thanks for sharing
  13. Huge Joy Division fan here. Excellent call! <object width="420" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77uVmkb6oes?version=3&hl=en_US"></param><param'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77uVmkb6oes?version=3&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77uVmkb6oes?version=3&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
  14. Quick, go get it while it's a steal! If my tank was bone dry, it would make less than a 4 dollar difference for me
  15. Thanks for posting. Abundant small fish and a lack of slot fish has certainly been noticed by just about everyone fishing the lake on a regular basis. Very interested in following this.
  16. Well, that's just a fantastic report, and entirely unfair.

  18. You must really hate the years that we actually get a winter...
  19. Wow, that is absolutely classic.
  20. Pike fishing has been great for me over the past 2 weeks or so. A little over 20 fish in about 10 trips. No 40" for me either, but most in the 28 - 32 " range and a small handful larger. The clackin minnows have been deadly, especially when the water muddies up... One of the nicer fish... Many days, especially the colder windier days, a big sucker under a float is about the only thing that will produce. Double check on the MNR website that your favourite spots are indeed zone 20. A few spots I fish are actually in zone 17 and remain open.
  21. It's a boat launch in the bush. There's no gate or security guard on hand if that's what you mean.
  22. I believe there is a dam, or a similar obstruction. We just trailered. It's a 5 minute drive.
  23. Yeah, I'm sure fat-boy Ford would love that idea.
  24. Switching to offshore in the morning!
