Had that happen not long ago. They tell you that it's "No Charge" except for the rent.... Except there's like $700 worth of stuff you need to pay on the bill. If you know anyone that's been scammed by that, tell them to look on their receipt. There is a number to call to cancel before it's too late.

I found that when I replaced the blades, the auger goes back to normal, so I'm no help here. If I was to lend my auger again, I'm gonna get the guy to drill me a hole right next to me so I know they know how to use it before I lend it to them. Sucks when your auger is destroyed before the end of the day and you can't move anymore.

If you're feeling adventurous, take the roe and add salt, pepper and pan fry until crispy. TBH, it's something that I'll eat once or twice a season.... Not really any bad flavours to it, but not really my favourite part of a fish either.

Go out and buy a set of screws from Eskimo if you can find them. Took one from a buddy and it makes all the pilot holes for me now. For some reason the clam ones really suck.

Colour is much better, especially for ice fishing. The main point is, you CAN cheap out on the fishfinder, only to upgrade again in a year or two.... OR you can buy one that's good enough to last you until it falls apart.

I could use a fix of this so badly! Only problem is that the wind the last few years are really just ridiculous! Thanks for sharing.
