Remember you'll usually get more run time out of a 24V system compared to 12V in most situations. I'm in the go big or go home camp. you can never have enough TM. -
Ah that sucks. Plastic cleans up nicely with a little elbow grease. Is there an inner lens?

Plastic lens? A quick cut and polish with an DA polisher would probably make them look new again. Same issue that happens with headlight lenses.

Best thing for a newb to do is hire a guide for a half day or full day. You'll learn so much your head will explode.

Yeah, if you're buying new you're kinda stuck. I never do, always used and well outside the warranty.

Only type of fishing I do with no leads is frogging.. Everything else gets a flouro or mono leader of some kind.

Lew, you've probably got the most bulletproof engine in this thread 5.0 is a great motor, not to shabby on the mileage either.

Guides are still fishing the Grand, I'd guess the temps are still below what would be considered bad for live release fish.

Exactly. If you wanna follow the contour you need the Lakemaster card. It's been like this for a while. (Or make your own maps with Autochart live)

Bring some big streamers with you, if you don't have any I've got some at the house.

You mean in order to follow contours you need the Lakemaster card. The iPilot and HB links up just fine with any map card.. Communication between the units is completely card independent.

Humminbird is the only one that works with i-Pilot. Tell him to check out the Helix series.

Run heavy mono instead of flouro for a leader, it doesn't sink and won't snag that front hook. -

Mid to late Oct is always my best smallie bite. August is good as well when they're schooling shiners and other spawning bait fish.

Jerkbaits/spinnerbaits. you need something in the middle of the water column that you can cover a lot of water with.

That video should never be released if that's the case, and from what I've read, the trucking company consisted of two trucks, not a big company at all (Which has also gone out of business) Pretty sure it was the drivers cousin that owned it?
