Cabelas Guidewear. With any Goretex you need to do a bit of maintenance to reactivate the waterproofing. I usually do this once a year, been going on 6 years with my stuff and dry as it was on day #1.

I'd find somewhere on the lower (Use Google maps for parking lots) and rip big swimbaits off the bottom.

I thought the same when I looked up the OPs trolling motor. I guess it's good though, like how many options do we need LOL! The new brushless Terrova is going to be pretty slick I think. The prob is my 10 year old Terrova won't die.

There is no Link anymore. All new motors have Advanced GPS/One Boat Network, which will follow the contour with the properly connected HB unit.

You'll want a Humminbird sonar up front then if you want to use features such as follow the contour etc. You'll need a lakemasters chip or use Autochart Live to create your own maps in order to use that feature. Won't follow the contour on Navionics maps.

Same with spring pike lol. Basically sight fishing.

Not compatible with Lowrance. You won't get any of the smart functions on the graph unless it's a Humminbird.

There's no issues charging AGMs when it's cold. If they're completely dead, then you should charge them in above 0 temps. I've always left my AGMs plugged into the charger/maintainer over the winter. Been doing this since I can remember. I'll probably switch over to lithiums when my current group of AGMs die, I'd guess another 2-3 seasons. Weight savings will be nice.

Gimme ABEC-3's or 5's.. With proper maintenance they should last a loooooong time.

All depends what I'm fishing for and when. But GBay will usually take the cake.

Only need to worry about the 12g if you're floating down the river by yourself. If you book with Albert, he takes care of everything. His outpost camp is also located on one of the best bend pools I've ever seen lol. Cliff, Quebec sounds like it might be a better solution from what I've read here.

If you love brookies, go do the Sutton. Stay in Alberts camp and catch as many 3-5lb brookies as your heart desires. Nothing else like it on this planet.

Beteau Lake would be a good idea. Unlimited walleyes and big gators, can also fish for sturgeon if you want to. I fished it with a different outfitter back then but Gray Wolf I believe runs the camp now. Mike Borger would be the man to talk to for recommendations. You can find him on Facebook.
