  1. Dave, if you're bored you can always tie me up some streamers for brownies!! lol
  2. I hope there is a CRD badge on the back
  3. Abu Record 60 and a Compre 8ft 1 pc would be a great package for anything musky related. Curado's are great reels, but they aren't going to handle Double10's or the big Bulldawgs.
  4. Bring a fishing rod A few jig heads and half a shrimp will get you ALL kinds of stuff.
  5. I wouldn't get too stressed about someone else's opinion.
  6. I used a jig below a slip float last year just because Catching walleyes up there is something we do while driving in between the pike spots, lol.
  7. Gear is rigged and ready to go! I gotta make up for my 2010 season, lol.
  8. I've never forgot to hold onto the spool, if you do you'll only do it once!!! lol I'd get something used off the Floatboard. A used Islander would probably be a good idea for a work horse reel at a decent price.
  9. Yup, really doesn't matter where you are driving out from when you're driving that far Probably be closer from the east shore, lol.
  10. People think this is some sort of conspiracy theory? Tell that to the CHP officer and his family who is now dead because of unintended acceleration.. The people who are at fault are the Toyota software engineers.. Not the manufacturers of 'sticky' pedals, not the Obama admin, not any of the Big 3. Toyota needs to take responsibility.
  11. The whities are there, you just need to commit to driving out as far as required
  12. Brian, get a cheap Okuma pin and one of the new St.Croix float rods and you'll be all set for the Notty
  13. If you can't see an icehut while driving a snowmobile, you are either not paying attention or driving to fast. It's not like the ice hut jumped out in front of them. When a vehicle hits a stationary object, it's usually the person behind the wheel that is at fault.
  14. I read that this morning on CBC.ca, lol.
  15. Definitely Salvelinus fontinalis.
  16. I raised those fish up with my spoon, it's the upper line. The dark red line is the bottom, the blue clutter on the bottom are fish as well as the lines just slightly up from bottom. You can also barely make out my micro swivel as well
  17. Brian, is there a herring season on Gbay? I'd just keep them for quick strike rigs in the spring, lol.
  18. Looks like I place I should add to the list to make sure I get out to this winter.
  19. GSP vs Silva would be awesome, but it really means nothing. If GSP loses it will because he had to gain weight, if Silva loses it will because he lost weight.
  20. Good lord, who's bumping these 3 year old threads?
  21. I noticed the same yesterday as well, when those 2ft deep tracks freeze up, it's going to get nasty out there. Although right now there's a bit of a melt going on! I don't think many people will be driving out this year (Although I did see some cars drive out off of 9th yesterday)
  22. We got a hero on our hands, good job Chris!!!!!!
