  1. Seeing that you've taken a liking to these fish, I thought I'd throw a few up I popped on the Niagara on the weekend
  2. My buddy Dave looks cold in those pics, lol!!!!
  3. Brian, you want a used float reel anyhow. Best bang for the buck out there.
  4. This guy should be on the Darwin Awards list.
  5. I think I might have seen you guys running around in that boat! lol I went two for two on brownies yesterday down there from shore.
  6. Lures have always been out to catch the fishermen, not the fish
  7. I found it funny they didn't mention Corey Haim in the list of actors that have passed away recently. I guess once you are a blackeye to Hollywood, they do whatever they can to make sure you aren't brought up again.
  8. Great report man! I've iced one laker on Simcoe this year, I think I need to change that
  9. How is a stag and doe begging for money? Sure, the entire point of it is to help out the bride and groom with the finances, but it's also for all those people that aren't going to be invited to the actual wedding.
  10. One thing I learned this year is that fishing Simcoe for lakers and whities REALLY skewed my perception on how deep these fish really should be. 40-60ft is where I'd be starting.
  11. The whole point of a stag and doe is to make money for the wedding. So why wouldn't the bride and groom promote it? lol
  12. I love seeing those streaks rocket off bottom! No whitefish does that Great fish!
  13. Spring? Strap that sucker to a ice rod!
  14. Lots and lots of ice out there, I'm sure you and the other few hundred vehicles on the ice will be just fine I wish I could make it, but I'll be hunting brookies up in Haliburton!
  15. I wonder if I'll have to register my pontoon boat?!?!? lol
  16. Did you miss the part where it's only for guided trips?
  17. At least you don't have to worry about ice thickness out there! lol Great fish!
  18. Yup, not even a dusting up here in Barrie.
  19. Man, I'd forget to put those scratchers up one single time while going into reverse and they'd be toast, lol.
  20. Well the bolt trick seems like a simple way to keep things cooled down back there. I'll look into it.
  21. Wayne, would I still need them with a studded track? I'd think that would kick up enough ice to cool things down no? I'm a complete snowmobile rube if you haven't figured it out yet
