I noticed the same yesterday as well, when those 2ft deep tracks freeze up, it's going to get nasty out there. Although right now there's a bit of a melt going on! I don't think many people will be driving out this year (Although I did see some cars drive out off of 9th yesterday)

Yeah, the rigid bar I bought at PA wasn't working, so today it was a rope tow! lol I'll just whip something up with some flat bar, easiest and the cheapest.

Good job Joey! I was thinking of hitting BBP today for some lakers, but I needed to get the whitie skunk off my back, lol. Glad there were no bumps and bruises this trip out!!!

Took the sled out for it's maiden voyage and it didn't disappoint. Made 3 moves and #3 was the ticket. 3 fish within 10 mins and then the clouds came, the fish turned off and I was on my 10mile ride back in Fished for maybe 3hrs today.. Short and sweet. Some fat ladies.. Caught 1 natural and it went back (they always do, I only keep the stockers for the oldman or the neighbours) Screen was lit up fairly steady until the clouds rolled in.

I wanna get my oldman a 7-8lber, then I'll get a replica of it!

Lots of people think they own the streambed/lake bottom. Reality is 95% of them don't.

Any bit will go through ice, wood or metal really doesn't matter.
