Selective harvest is the key, regardless if it's out in the lake or in the rivers.. Keep those stockers, that's EXACTLY what they are for.... table fare.
I like BPS.. I get to drop in on the way home from work, check out some new gear, maybe buy a few things etc.. I really can't complain about anything..
We don't need up to date fishing reports every single time someone goes on the river. Seriously, wait a week or so until conditions are crap then post up about your success.
Drives me crazy.
You can't cross private property in order to fish a public waterway. Even if you want to walk around a nasty part of a river, step foot on private property without permission and you'll be trespassing.
I also agree that public water shouldn't be allowed to be surrounded by private property offering zero public access.
People think they can sell stuff for 90% of it's retail value... Some stuff you can get close to retail for, but most you can't. Some people can't wrap their heads around this concept. Especially the guys that drop 10k into their cars, then think they'll see that 10k during the sale, lol!!!
I don't think anyone is going to be surprised that the fish will be done and gone by the time opener gets here. Opener is for residents anyhow, screw the steelhead, lol.
To be honest a DSLR isn't for you, these are semi-pro level cameras (Depending on how much you want to spend) I'd get a great Point and Shoot with a long optical zoom, turn it on, shoot away, super simple and great pics to boot.
