As far as selective harvest is concerned, there needs to be some education on how to properly identify a fish (Male or female).. You'll make a smaller impact keeping the males of the species opposed to the big fat hens (steelhead is a great example)

Saw a bear cub about 20ft from shore last week... Swimming around, not a care in the world. Most likely getting a bit of relief from the heat.. He didn't like the boat as we zipped by and scrambled up the shore and back close to momma.. This was off a point that's way out in the lake, really cool site.

That article is a little short on hard facts. Last time I was on the Trent Severn by Big Chute, it was packed with boats waiting to go over into Gloucestor. If all those disappear, that's a lot of $$$$ that will be pulled out of the local economy (fuel, food, attractions, etc etc)
