Saw a bear cub about 20ft from shore last week... Swimming around, not a care in the world. Most likely getting a bit of relief from the heat.. He didn't like the boat as we zipped by and scrambled up the shore and back close to momma.. This was off a point that's way out in the lake, really cool site.

That article is a little short on hard facts. Last time I was on the Trent Severn by Big Chute, it was packed with boats waiting to go over into Gloucestor. If all those disappear, that's a lot of $$$$ that will be pulled out of the local economy (fuel, food, attractions, etc etc)

To be honest, I don't see many cars hand bombing boats off their roofs (Actually I don't think I've ever seen one) They can easily park in the lot just down the road and pull it across the grass and launch from the beach.

Those spots are for vehicles with trailers, if you don't have a trailer, enjoy the ticket!

That's just the output amperage though, make sure you keep an eye on the charger and don't let it over charge.

One thing I've learned is that automotive chargers tend to boil deep cycle batteries.. You really want a 'smart' charger specifically for these batteries if you want them to last.. They'll step down the charge once the battery is almost full, etc..
