They aren't shy about anything, lol. I can't count the number of fish I caught at my feet with the mouse dangling in the water while I was doing something else and not paying attention.. I also caught at least a dozen fish on false casts.. The mouse would barely touch the water and they'd explode on it.. A fly fishermans dream for sure.

I think Sinclair and I agree, this is 100% an Atlantic. Case closed, move on people!

The only running was back to the canoe to grab the Remington 1187 Super Mag and fire 3 slugs over it's head to persuade it to go into the woods, instead of down the bank towards us. In hind sight, I probably should have grabbed the camera instead of the gun after talking to the local natives about our encounter. Lots of polar bear spottings at that specific spot, I'm sure we weren't the first humans it's seen. As far as fish, here's a teaser.

Ardagh to BB Point a straight shot over (or under) the highway would be perfect. It would get rid of that 3rd light (At Essa/BB Point) which is pretty much the cause of all the backups anyhow.. Tt's wishful thinking though, lol!

It makes perfect sense. Get off at Mapleview or Innisfil beach road a quick trip down Sideroad 5 (Veterans) and you are there. New turning lanes for the NB 400 on Mapleview thanks to the completed construction, so much better then Essa Rd.. That intersection is horrible already, even with nothing special going on, it takes 10 mins to get from Ardagh to BB Point road most days anytime after 4pm. Whatever civil engineer designed that needs to be fired, lol.

Please no.. That Essa/Ardagh/400/BB Point intersection is bad enough as it is, lol! Put it in the south end off Mapleview, lots of space down there

You think that 56in muskie is actually still producing eggs? Ehhh, I dunno.. Regardless that's the fish to keep, not the 40incher that's in it's prime. The guy's still an idiot for not having the proper release tools, that's just common sense. As far as selective harvest is concerned, there needs to be some education on how to properly identify a fish (Male or female).. You'll make a smaller impact keeping the males of the species opposed to the big fat hens (steelhead is a great example)
