    They do.. Re-tighten after 100kms or so then you should be golden. Unless I missed the part where they said to check every 300kms.

    Only other way you'd snap a stud off is uneven pressure when tightening.. Very odd. I'd get them all replaced..

    Jose, when was the last time that torque wrench was calibrated? Might be your issue. One thing I love about most German cars, no studs, just wheel bolts

    Get a 2up, long track touring sled.. Only way to go.

    Aluminum rims don't require tightening every 300k... Once you've swapped out your winter steelies, give them another tightening a few days later and you're good for the year. There's also no need to torque the living crap out of them either...

    So Toyota issued a massive recall and had to pay out 50mil just because? The government was most likely involved because people died, I'm not to sure why that was so hard for you to figure out.

    My PD doesn't smoke at all, even under WOT. I am actually going to get my tuner to turn up the fuel a bit. My old car which was a rotary pump engine (ALH) making similar power numbers would black out 3 lanes of traffic, lol!!!

    I think all you have to do is register on the DECALS site if you don't have a old NYS license to use. Then you should be able to get one online, even as a first timer.
