That's a lot of $$$$ for that lens seeing that it's f4. The 24-70 f2.8 L is still the way to go in that price range (used of course).. I think I'm going to pick up a EF-S 17-55mm for my 60D.. So many lenses, so many decisions! LOL

I find with the emeralds you just gotta keep the water clean and you're golden.

You've got an alternator in your big engine, why not use it to charge all your batteries? If I just didn't buy an 2 bank onboard charger for the Lund, I would have done a setup similar to a buddy of mine just did. Also if you have a 7 pin trailer harness, you'll charge everything while driving as well. Seems like the best solution out there. Maybe Dave will come in here and explain it a bit better then I did, lol.

It's all about the temp. I've kept sucker minnows alive for about 2 weeks just keeping them in the livewell in the fall. As long as it's cold, they'll be fine. I do the same with emeralds in the winter. I've got a little 10L fish tank and aerator I keep in the garage for the left overs. No point in buying emeralds every single time you go fishing if you've got dozens left over after a day of fishing.

Is it bad to want the thieves to try and fly this thing and end up on the bottom of Gbay somewhere?
