  1. I've got a Panasonic Lumix TS3 for my rugged/waterproof P&S works great. As far as the T3 is concerned, I'd look at the T2i instead.. Better bang for the buck.
  2. Absolutely man, we can lose a bunch of floats on the Notty trying to one up each other, lol!!! You've got my number, gimme a ring when you and Dan want to get out.
  3. The closet I get the gf to fishing is suntanning in the boat during the summer, lol!
  4. Recoils? That thing must be nice and light!
  5. Challenge accepted.
  6. Side cast.
  7. They usually don't tag them in the ass, lol!
  8. Unless there's some massive rebound of the bait situation in Huron/Gbay, you'll never see that section open again (I don't think it should either).. More then enough river to fish if you wanna keep 2 for the table.
  9. If it works for ya, then stick with it.. That's why I'll most likely never learn the Wallis in order to avoid line twist. I don't get it with my setup.
  10. Nope, I don't use pre-made shot line. I make the shot line long enough so that I can move the shot/float around to fish the riffle water or the deep stuff. I use 8lb Drennan Super Specialist for shot line, it takes a beating and has no fraying issues when I'm constantly moving shot around on it.. I rarely if ever have shot on my leader, flouro doesn't stand up to well when you start moving shot up and down on it.. If I'm going to a big flow like the Geen, I'll obviously re-rig the night before, but it's the same principle.. I don't run light tippet either, 4-6lb Drennan Flouro or 5.6-6.6 Phantom.. It will consistently bust off before the shot or main line.
  11. Who in there right mind would ever wanna fillet 300 sunfish? LOL! I think No Kill has it's place.. certain rivers, certain times, certain sections along with things like selective harvest... If we make sure the fishery is kept healthy, there should be zero impact when someone wants 2 for the table.
  12. I'm too lazy to learn the Wallis, so I'll just stick with the swivel/braid combo lol!
  13. I can't imagine palming a centerpin in -30 degree weather would be any fun. Give me a baitcast/spinning reel over that any day.
  14. The Notty has a No Kill section from the confluence of the Boyne river down to Angus. Has done wonders for that fishery, perfect example of how No Kill works.
  15. Yeah, I was on it as well on Sat.. Bad idea, lol.
  16. The best thing about No Kill sections on particular stretches of river is that it's just not the CO's making sure people aren't taking fish. It's all the other anglers as well..
  17. There's been a big swing in C&R techniques in the past few years. That report was done when? 2005?
  18. Already a no-kill section in my home river, more rivers up this way need it.
  19. If he hit something in the water, the odds are the other motor wouldn't be untouched (Or the bottom of the boat for that matter)
  20. I thought that picture in Kingsway Tackle looked familiar, lol!

Toyo Open Country AT would be another great choice.
  22. That's probably the CG boat from Brit, lol.
  23. I think that might be expensive.
  24. I'd probably use gloves instead of switching rigs to a baitcast setup.
