    The glorious bounty of those southern shore beauties! Gotta love it. Although I gotta ask, you'd rather see guys taking eggs from wild, self sustaining fisheries or put and take stock fisheries were no natural reproduction occurs? As for that roe being 'free', you really need to factor all the costs involved with going down there and fishing.. Free isn't exactly a term I'd be using.

    I wouldn't put a game camera in place of a real security camera. That just seems like a huge hassle. Cliff, the biggest issue you'll have is power the remote cameras.. If power isn't an issue (ie you've got power to places you want to install them), a wireless setup should be fairly simple. You can get the live camera footage displayed on your smartphone if you want

    Found the same lastnight on a local spot of mine. Big fat bellies, hitting pretty much anything (We got 90% of our fish on topwaters over 30ft of water on steep drops).. Gotta love this time of year!

    Just ordered a rod from the US.. Free shipping, and I paid $30 in duty/tax/brokerage (Rod was $200).. No complaints. Make sure the company uses USPS, if they don't forget it.

    Run all your electronics/bilge/whatever off one 12v source.. Run your other two batteries in parallel and use that for your 12V trolling motor.

    I think it's more along the lines of common sense. It's like guys that drop 40k on a new car and refuse to spend $800 on snow tires, then end up in the ditch.

    I would.... If you can drop 20k on a boat, you can afford the $300 it might cost you a winter for indoor storage. Lots of people out there just waiting to rip you off.
