Found the same lastnight on a local spot of mine. Big fat bellies, hitting pretty much anything (We got 90% of our fish on topwaters over 30ft of water on steep drops).. Gotta love this time of year!

Just ordered a rod from the US.. Free shipping, and I paid $30 in duty/tax/brokerage (Rod was $200).. No complaints. Make sure the company uses USPS, if they don't forget it.

Run all your electronics/bilge/whatever off one 12v source.. Run your other two batteries in parallel and use that for your 12V trolling motor.

I think it's more along the lines of common sense. It's like guys that drop 40k on a new car and refuse to spend $800 on snow tires, then end up in the ditch.

I would.... If you can drop 20k on a boat, you can afford the $300 it might cost you a winter for indoor storage. Lots of people out there just waiting to rip you off.

Nice man! I picked up a bunch of Duo Realis Pencil 85's a few weeks ago.. Everything seems to like them (bass, pike, whatever).. Really nice topwater bait that casts a mile I'll have to look into their jerk baits.

I don't think I've run a fly less then 30in (Usually a lot longer then that) kings and the rest of the fish out there don't seem to mind, lol.
