  1. Those are some nice Gbay fish!
  2. No problem Brian, glad you can get some use out of it. Did you export waypoints/routes from your old unit? They're stored internally and not on the card. Power up the old unit with the card in it, once booted up, export the waypoints to the SD card. After that, boot up the new unit, let it power on all the way, insert the chip card and it will prompt you to import data from SD card. You say 'Yes' and all should be good.
  3. I don't use an inline fuse with my Helix 5 when I ice fish. Right to the battery.
  4. I've had no issues using PP's this year for fishing. The one I use the most has actually been free Mon-Thurs. No day pass required and free launching
  5. Small males will always stay shallow for the most part. The big females will be off the edges. They like cooler water temps then muskie do, so think deep.
  6. Yeah you need an external GPS for this model. What are you running now for a graph?
  7. Put a new graph on the bow so this one has to go. Humminbird 958 DI. Comes with a XNT 20 9 T transducer (Brand new, never used), power cord, cable management connector and the mount. Unit is in great condition with no screen bubbling (Which seems to be common on the old HB units if left out in the sun). No external GPS puck included. S400.
  8. This week of stable weather should help and those lower overnight temps.
  9. As big as a screen as you can afford. Your boat is probably pre-wired to the front as well, no need to add a second battery.
  10. Not a lake you'll want to fish for musky.
  11. Harris off the 69 north of PAB. Think we're talking different lakes.
  12. First pick is all muskie.
  13. Yup, like porkpie said. Those chinooks will have their bellies on the bottom. I've tried to 'salvage' a day with lakers only to realize they weren't lakers, lol.
  14. Those short wheel based popup campers can be a handful
  15. If you're up and it's on the other side of the ramp, go for it. I've never been to a ramp where there's a designated lane for launching and one for loading.
  16. Nice!!! I use a 1000W Yamaha genny and hook it up to my onboard charger in the boat at night. It's so quiet you can barely even hear it. I start it before I go to bed and let it run out of gas. Charges up the batteries no problem.
  17. Didn't find anything using Fish Online?
  18. No doubt. And they eat anything.
  19. Brian, I've got a spot or two up there I'll let you know when the water temps are mint and we'll get you one on the fly. Fall isn't a bad time either.
  20. It needs to be deployed in order to work so it doesn't turn on when stowed. This is pretty normal Also, you can leave it plugged in when charging, been doing that for years.
  21. Nope you're right it doesn't. Just looking at it screams triploid to me. Similar to what the Konrad boys pull out of Diefenbaker.
  22. Now that looks like a fun day on the water!
