I never disconnect the trailer when launching, never an issue. I'm running LEDs on our boat trailer (And pretty much anything else we tow)

Could be lakers, whitefish or cisco. Try to upsize or downsize your bait, switch up your jigging technique, dead stick, etc. All sorts of things you can do.

A decent amount of 'Ok' pike (say 5-8lbs) but you'd be hard pressed to get anything bigger with consistency.. Some giant muskies, but those are few and far between. I fish it all the time (Probably 2-3 times a week once late May hits).. Fun lake, the boat traffic can be awful however and she whips up quick with the right wind.

If I could find the crappie in HH, I'd be a happy camper.

Eh... I dunno if I'd call Crane a trophy pike fishery by any means. If I were the OP I'd head to Lake Muskoka.

You wanna talk about fog! Ran the electronics all the way out, couldn't see a thing.. Wasn't worried too much about other boat traffic in this place. Was a bit unnerving but the fish co-operated.
